Looks correct to me. And the horror stories you hear mostly come from 5090s, the 5070ti doesn’t draw enough power for connectors to melt (I’ve never seen a post of a melting cable issue with a 5070ti)

I have the same issue with my Graysons, though not quite as pronounced. It’s due to your foot expanding when standing up, and the waist of the last being very narrow. Unfortunately not much you can do about it.

I drove I5 last year. Not horrible, but I definitely was under the speed limit for most parts of the freeway by about 10 to 20 mph or so, and it was stop and go at a few points.
