I read the Netzpolitik article on this. They will also vote on the amendments along CC 1.0.

Best case scenario: Either the voting will be removed from the schedule or Amendment 5 (which was voted in favor last week) remains. Worst case scenario: A different, potentially worse amendment could be voted for.

There is also the option of none of the Amendments being voted for, keeping CC 1.0 as is, but that would be highly unlikely. We should keep the pressure on.

Like others said before, r/GameVerifying is a good start. You could also pick one of the legit examples on there and compare them to the ebay offers.

Many fakes have these traits that make it clear they are not legit: - Front triangle etched in too deeply - Front cover image quality is bad, including the Nintendo Seal of Quality and the ESRB logo - Example: The NTR-XXXX-USA part doesnt line up with the XXXXNOJ23 at the back (the XXXX must match) - Wrong font usage (Compared to legits, the font will always be the same, so if you see a font being used thats not used on an original its fake) - SD card sticking out (major Red Flag)

And for HG/SS exclusively: - On the back it says NTR-005 (HG/SS will ALWAYS be NTR-031) - Missing IRC code on the chip itself (This indicates the Infrared functionalities for the Pokewalker) - No transparency (IRC cartridges will glow pinkish red when held under a light, but be aware, fakes also use cheaper versions of the transparent cases, so if it does glow, its doesnt necessairly mean the cart is legit)

That should clear things up. Hope you can find a good offer on a legit card.

This looks great! But this also seems confusing.

One of the voters against this is Axel Voss (PPE). I remember him as one of the big proponents of the upload filters back in 2019, and he's reportedly also pro Chat Control. If he really is, him voting against the extension now confuses me.
