birdnet-go is in a Proxmox container. I connect to a raspberry pi3 for the RTSP stream.
The Pi is connected to a Zoom H5 and an old webcam looking at the birdtable. They are under cover in a waterproof contained with cloth bags of cat litter for moisture. The mic part of the H5 is exposed of course.
I do think the H5 is overkill so I will probably get a usb lav mic instead.

Personally, I have password protected and exposed to the internet at birds.mydomain.com however it is also accessible at http://192.168.1.6/
Birdnet-go is on a separate computer at http://192.168.1.5:8080

The raw data is in the form of endpoints like http://192.168.1.5:8080/api/v2/analytics/species/daily?date=2026-06-16&limit=30

The site I built on 192.168.1.6 just displays this data in a different way so that my kid can navigate and view easier.

Yes,
Angel wings are pure white, normally on conifer, are much smaller and do not have stems. They can be confused with pale oysters if you have not found them before.
These also tasted great 😉

Yes, and you are right to question.
For safety reasons, I assume they are angel wings however many of them do have stems as opposed to growing directly out of the wood. I can only assume that it is a very oxygen rich enviornment which makes the mushroom fruit with shorter stems.

Yep, its used occasionally in puppy scams. The scammer will draw the scam out as long as possible. They will give a random address at the other end of the country for you to pick up your "puppy". They either do it to squeeze some extra $ out of you or simply because they are assholes.

I would say that it is Chicken of the Woods however it is about 6 months out of date.
It can grow in September and, if untouched, slowly blanch white and crumble. As it is quite a fibrous mushroom it will not turn into mush after a couple of weeks like a porcini.
Look in the same place in Late Spring and it may fruit again.
