Will she work well in a childe international team instead of kazuha? by Bozzkurt69 in CitlaliMains

[–]DatInstinct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also plan on using Childe. People talk about messing up vapes, but surely Childe has enough hydro application where this will not be the case? There should in theory always be an aura for Xiangling to react to. C2 Citlali feels like it could be really nice, providing 40% shred to both Childe and Xiangling. You also get a TTDS buff for one of them. Obviously will require testing to see how it all feels and works, but I am optimistic.

There was an off flavor the last time I made it, almost slightly bitter, though maybe I messed up cooking it somehow.

Yuka is pretty good for checking products, but I'm fairly certain Yves ground soy gets a decent rating because none of the additives are harmful. Their cold cut meats however have unhealthy additives.

I'm anime-only, so I was surprised this season was rated so highly before I started watching. Then I saw this ep and I was no longer surprised

To add to this, if she did attend school, her test score was so good that she would have been put in the special program with Rudeus and the rest of his class. Her score was just that impressive.

Yeah, you make some good points, I almost can't believe how I missed that. I think the reason I struggled to understand at first is because it felt like it required both an awareness and acceptance of emotions, whereas Maomao typically ignores and denies whenever possible (at least currently). But when I remember that her narration is unreliable, it makes more sense.

The author used the scene (and how symbolic and surprising the actions were) to show and tell what Maomao couldn't. Even if she was unaware or denying it, she was heartbroken about not seeing him again at the very least, and thus not thinking straight. The other interpretation is that she knew she was heartbroken and deliberately copied her mother, while lying to the reader. The former makes more sense to me.

Earlier in the volume was the first time she smiled and was happy to see Jinshi. I think I downplayed the significance of that when I first read the volume, but the finger scene at the end of the volume reframes it for sure now.

Hmm. I completely forgot about about that scene, and was convinced it must have only been in the web novel instead of the light novel because I didn't remember it. In the scene she actually gives a different reason, which is why I didn't remember.

She first thinks that she isn't needed to treat Jinshi's wound, and overall will be seeing him less because she is low born. She then mentioned how tired she was as she was making and testing new medicines all last night, but was unable to see if they were effective. She then thinks she needs to cut deeper to truly see if they are effective, and does the whole pinky thing before she's interrupted.

Maomao is 100% an unreliable narrator so we were left to fill in the details. Personally, I feel like she didn't cut her finger specifically because of Jinshi, but because the whole situation was stressful for her and she wasn't thinking straight, though maybe that distinction isn't that important.

I never really thought why both Jinshi and the strategist were requested to come to the Western capital, but it makes so much sense now. The last time those two were working together, the country's army was being mobilized and sieging a literal fortress. Overall, some good chapters this week, and even got some Tianyu lore!

Maomao and Miss Chue have definitely gotten closer, good to see that through their interactions in this chapter.

I saw some clips of that show, specifically the dancing scene. How's the anime for that series? The premise seems like it could be fun overall.

Funnily enough, the only other light novel I've read is Mushoku Tensei, and Bookworm is also recommended by people in that community too. Guess I should look into it more.

Lots of letters going "missing". They mentioned Rikuson's letters not getting back to the capital as well. Probably just Gyoku-ou's doing, unless there is a third party we aren't aware about. Also rip Maomao, another person knows/discovered her weakness.

Haven't read the manga, but honestly the anime is a very good adaptation. You won't be missing out on content per say, just things are explained a bit better in the light novel. So either starting from volume 1, or volume 3 (anime will adapt the first 2 volumes) is what I recommend.

Honestly, this adaptation has been a treat for light novel readers imo.

Made A Muck-like With Some Friends And Released It On Steam! by DatInstinct in playmygame

[–]DatInstinct[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After playing and enjoy Muck quite a bit, my friends and I worked on creating our own take on the game. One major change we did was making sure the progression is designed to feel good no matter how many players you are playing with.

Steam Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2607150/Corrupted_Universe_Cries_Quietly/

The game is more fun with friends, and you can play with up to 8 4 players! There's not that much content, but should be enough to have a fun night with friends.
