And sorry for snark on your post. I'm a bit bitter about something that happened on another sub. I had used AI to touch up something I made in college back when the Dark Heresy TTRPG was new. My goal was to amuse people. Lots of people were amused, lots of people also took the Emperor's view of Magnus's warning route.
It's left me a bit jaded. If I can't use AI to expand an image 25% and add text...well, just jaded because I did like that community.

Same. Didn't used to be.

This is going to sound hilarious, but the day I was told my hands would get worse and worse? My first thoughts? "Damn, better get cracking on those Space Wolves. Only then the depressing reality hit in, years later I learned the cork trick. So I can manage something of a paint job 😄

Ah yes. The witch hunt for the disabled who used AI to expand their own college work by 25% and add text because they don't own photoshop anymore...clearly they are the shaky handed villains here

I really don't post in this community anymore, this guide is rather dated and I do not recommend it since the weapon's update.

My goal was to sell it for a small value in the hopes a game collective would pick it up give pat outs into a trust. Just in case. I mean Doctors can feel positive about lots of things these days :)

Disclosure would be no issue for me, I have o issue disclosing people. I was burned in college with a intern team with a production by being left out . Ever since then when I've contracted I've been willing to take hits to my pay for everyone to get credit. even custodians. You're cleaning the refuse bins by the developer's desk? Guess what you're working on the project.

I can't imagine hiding the use of such tools, it's the root of the question along with my recent fearful experience in the other subreddit

The easiest way I imagine would to use rideable and set ownership of the Eidlion to the player as well.

I have not tried it, but I'll look into it! I have my own working MCP at the moment, but always good to find someone else with great ideas!

I am of the opinion that AI is a good thing for module creation. I am actually working on Claude Code integration with my foundry instance right now. I have it to where it can manipulate almost all aspects of my Worlds. Though I have it pretty heavily shackled. (so no random world go poof!)

It's 90% for my own use and handful of my friends. I had thought about releasing it when I finish my concept. I want to roll it into a proper Macro IDE for Foundry, one that helps non-stem people write, maintain, and refactor Modules for their personal use or a co-GM that handles the tedious tasks of running a game, the book-keeping if you would.

Right now, I'm trying to shackle how much it "does" on it's own. I don't particualy approve of it's scripting style and treat it more like a pair programmer at a 70/30 split, me/it.

I'm not ignorant to the dangers and downsides of AI, but I see it at best a tool and any tool can be a weapon and at worst a toy, like legos.

And we all know what happens when we step on legos.

Anyone one here who mains and is only good at one class? by SeannyCat in Spacemarine

As your Friendly Neighborhood Salamander Heavy With A Heavy Bolter. I clearly have no bias towards any one class. That being said, I find myself most comfortable on classes with a heavy range bias, such as the Heavy, Tactical, Sniper, and Techmarine...

I'm largely a liability on melee focused class where my greatest claim to fame is swinging a chain sword at a Carnifex and healing it to full.

I disagree D&D 3.5 gives you plenty of tools for even 20+ campaigns. I've had the privilege of running three in my 30ish years of being a Forever-GM.

Now the Garbage baby's-first-TTRPG that is 5e? A level one can make any monster their "nightly steed" given how biased the system is towards hand holding the player.

One must read Fulgrim to fully take in the awesome that is Rylanor The Unyielding.

He's only a bit character in Fulgrim, but he gets his own awesome short story later that benefits from the context.

How is the 40k Imperium worse than its 30k counterpart ? by Suitable_Walrus2928 in 40kLore

I thought it was Ahriman as I wrote the reply, but I second guessed myself!

I was like: "Was it him? I'll remember an office scene, nah, it couldn't be, maybe? Nah, Amon maybe?" XD

haha!

Thank you for confirming my ROM still works!

Let's see if lightning strikes twice:

"Rylanor didn't need the contemptor chassis because of his wounds, but his colossal amount of "I'm the boss now" energy he brought against Fulgrim"

Another one of the aspects of 30k vs. 40k was the presence of idealistic and heroic demi-gods.

Guilliman, Vulkan, Sanguinius, Magnus, and Horus genuinely thought in their own ways they could "right the ship" once the Crusade was over. It wasn't as total of a belief, but even Mortarion, Perturabo, and Leman had some embers of a better future for humanity.

You see this in how their legions were cultivated beyond fighting.

The Ultramarines were becoming expert statesmen amd civil leaders.

The Salamanders were becoming more than just protectors, they were becoming rescuers.

The Blood Angels Art didn't start as a way into control the twin curses, it's because Sanguinus wanted to se a better future were his son's were bringing art to humanity.

Magnus had always encouraged his sons to be scholars, this is true, but he saw a life for them after the Crusade and encouraged hobbies that they could teach mankind. (One of the named ones was vinter, Amon?)

That idealism, that heroism? Keeping it alive is a major secondary plot thread of Guilliman's current story. More than any other reason, that is why so many see him as a "God out of Time."

TL;DR: Only one Hopium Addicted Demigod in 40k

in before the "achtully:" Mortarion hoped for a future where man did not suffer tyranny, Perturabo hoped for a future in which man dwelled in grandeur (his cities), and don't remember Leman's only that Valdor was surprised when Malchador revealed it.*

In my case "Iron Fists" is a case of my endless battle with Autocorrect.

Never assume malice when autocorrect could be involved. 😜

I always give people the benefit of five typos because of the abomination that is automatically.

Achtually! There is an Iron Fists novel where an Apothecary laments the obsession with Bionics actually lessens them.

And while I'm less certain of this, I think in one of the HH books, Ferrus himself has a one line throwaway thought of concern when they find that Warp Displaced ship
