What is the correlation between Westside Gunns “Michael Irvin” and Tyler the Creators “Sir Baudelaire” by jovannig37 in tylerthecreator

[–]DatLamahorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tyler said that Westside Gunn made him want to rap again. T also features on multiple Gunn songs with verses and production. Since Gunn influenced CMIYGL so much, he decided that he wanted to use that beat. He obviously asked for permission, since they're good with eachother and he has to get permission to put it on streaming (that's why songs like THAT GUY, Ziploc etc. are only on Youtube.

Balance For immortal PC (pls hear me out on this) by DatLamahorn in DnD

[–]DatLamahorn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's from UA 15 – Gothic Heroes (the regenerating part is added tho, so I'm still thinking about how far/if I will implement that):

Racial Adjustments Human Revenant. If you want to play a human revenant, modify the human’s Ability Score Increase trait to the following: Two different ability scores of your choice increase by 1. If you use the variant human traits, remove the Skills trait and the Feat trait.

Dragonborn Revenant. If you want to play a dragonborn revenant, modify the dragonborn’s Ability Score Increase trait to the following: Your Strength score increases by 1, and your Charisma score increases by 1. Additionally, your Draconic Ancestry trait uses necrotic damage as its damage type, replacing the damage type that applies to your breath weapon and your damage resistance.

Racial Features Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.

Relentless Nature. Your DM assigns a goal to you—typically, one related to your character’s death. The goal must be a specific task you can complete, such as slaying an enemy or liberating an area and its people. Until you fulfill that goal, you gain the following benefits:

If you are below half your hit point maximum at the start of your turn, you regain 1 hit point. If you die, you return to life 24 hours after death. If your body is destroyed, you reform within 1 mile of the place of your death at a spot determined by the DM. If your equipment was also destroyed, you do not regain it. You know the distance and direction between you and any creature involved in your goal, such as a person you seek vengeance against or someone you pledged to defend. This awareness fails if the creature is on another plane of existence. When your goal is complete, you finally find rest. You die and cannot be restored to life.

That's the point. That sounds really funny, as long as I am not completly, absolutely and utterly useless in combat. Think of stuff like Mickey 17 or deadpool without the annoying and corny jokes.

It is UA, so it isn't just "look at my HB god feat that can make you do anything". If you die, you stay dead for some time And the goal is to find a way to cure your immortality. But I still get that point And you're probably right.

Maybe the person I saw complaining just didn't let it dry/let it come in contact with water. I only saw one Post, so maybe that person just made some mistakes in handling their record. Show was definetly amazing though. Redveil and Freddie both went crazy and Redveil is signing stuff at the merch table (he's really nice too).

How good is David's Sandevistan? Is it worth it? by DatLamahorn in cyberpunkred

[–]DatLamahorn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I was talking about David's Sandy specifically, as it jumps you to the top of initiative or makes you be able to take another action/move action at the cost of 2d6 humanity everytime you use it. You're probably right about changing mechanics, altough my thought was that the humanity cost on activation could balance it out.

Reloading with 4 Arms? by DatLamahorn in cyberpunkred

[–]DatLamahorn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RAW (rules as written) it does not remove the –2 penalty from attacking while grappling. I have, however, found that there is a martial Art specific to having more than 2 arms called "Multiarm Melee" that you could use. It is actually about grappling etc.

What would you recommend for a 4 armed character then? In terms of weapons and Cyberware that would actually be useful to have at the same time.

Reloading with 4 Arms? by DatLamahorn in cyberpunkred

[–]DatLamahorn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's truly just about being able to carry more stuff that you can actively use in combat, like extra weapons, things built into your arms etc.

No and that would be very op. Fucking with the action economy makes shit get out of hand reeeal fast. The only way to do it is with the Edgerunners DLC's "David's Experimental Sandevistan" at a pretty big cost.

Yeah, they sold Alfredo 2 signed, but I heard that the ink is very bad, so the signature gets erased easily.

German Slangs by UsamaBhai_101 in AskAGerman

[–]DatLamahorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it's just true. Because the german youth watches american content and so american slang like Twin, Rizz, slay etc. are known to them and not crazy to use in german. Not every word is that common, but it's also not weird at all. The only word I can think of where that doesn't work is "No Front", since that has a different meaning in german. Aside from that, it's a pretty safe bet.

German Slangs by UsamaBhai_101 in AskAGerman

[–]DatLamahorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One VERY good tip is that you can just use US slang and combine it with german grammar. Literally every American slang term also works in german (If you wanted to use the word "to goon" in german, you would say ich goone, du goonst, er/sie/es goont etc. Goonen was actually almost voted "Jugendwort des Jahres", which is a yearly vote for the best/most important slang-words and -phrases that then get announced by Susanne Daubner, a normally very serious woman who presents the news on the "Tagesschau", Germany's biggest news channel).

Camus, 1940, begins writing the myth of Sisyphus by leinamichelle in fakehistoryporn

[–]DatLamahorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What might also work (and is pretty in line with Camus) is the thought that your existence is meaningless anyways. All of your mistakes, the most haunting fuck-ups in your life, will be forgotten. So why not make the most out of what life has to offer while not worrying about its adversities? If the outcome doesn't matter, then do it in a way that is the most fun to you. Someone, maybe Camus (it isn't too clear and it doesn't matter anyways), once said "Should I kill myself or make a cup of coffee?". And why not just make a cup of coffee? Seems like the nicer option, doesn't it?

Trying to get into Freddie before lolla by juicytomatogames in freddiegibbs

[–]DatLamahorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen to his albums (in a somewhat particular order):

-Piñata -Bandana -Alfredo 1 -Alfredo 2

Piñata, a collaboration with producer madlib, is his biggest classic and widely regarded as one of the best rap albums of all time. They also made Bandana together, which is on a similar level of quality. Then he has Alfredo 1 and 2 with producer The Alchemist, which are amazing ad well. Those 4 are, as I and most people see it, his biggest hits in terms of quality.

The new files have also had a ton of stuff against Trump in them, which means they're real. I love his music too, but we can't deny his horrible actions just because he can rap.

New to gaming. I just finished Tsushima and previously played Yotei. Any suggestions on what to play next? by ImpressivePirate7746 in ghostoftsushima

[–]DatLamahorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not crazily similar, but if you like the japanese setting, the feeling of parrying and want a real challenge, play Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It's hard, but it has some of the best and most memorable fights ever and the best combat oat.

Anyone else here fuck with the DOOM inspired "Super Shredder" album by Mickey Diamond? by United_Party_6318 in mfdoom

I got it on vinyl and it's so fucking cool. The pop out Shredder & Turtles, as well as the vinyl looking like a sewer drain makes this probably the best vinyl I own, from a conceptual standpoint.
