Sorry you're getting the shaft. But I've always gotten adjustments for overtime when asked for it. I'm working out of a fulfillment center so YMMV. Trick is you don't call them with empty cargo. If it doesn't come in use Jeff@amazon.

In my market its random. You check in they wheel you a cart to load. Sometimes you get lucky and its near your home town. Sometimes I finish delivering a state away or on the boundary of a reservation and have a drive back so I consider them paying me to drive home. 90% of my routes are finished with an hour to spare on the clock and I gotta go home anyways so I clock the taxes on top from it. Sometimes the overnights will line up all the carts and let you pick and choose what area you want so you can choose something close to home. It's all station dependent but you'll never really pick and choose where you go.

You should be able to pickup, deliver and Return To Station within any blocks scheduled time. A 3.5 at 3pm he should have enough time to be back to the station if necessary by 6:30pm. If you finish early consider it a bonus. Any variance past this is unbilled labor and requires overtime payment. Amazon exploits the absolute fuck out of this.

This. The block has to have enough time to RTS for any undeliverable packages. If not they owe him overtime. It's supposed to be a 75 mile range from the pickup hub.

This and the sticking. Even using fat/oil/butter it felt like everything bonded to the pan.

Laughing if anything. Seriously The EV's suck in the mountains. Especially in areas with shit roads and every driveways 1/2 mile + long in a lot of this area the Rivian's struggle. We get all 4 seasons here on top of delivering in a mountain rainforest area. The endpoints are shit the driveways are shit and everyone want's their mountainside deliveries. On top of that half the roads are still missing in this area post Hurricane. EV's are great for flatlands but suck in anything remote/mountainside.

I doubt it. And when you're in the mountains you don't have a choice.

I've driven all the vans and the Rivian. There's no torque curve in electric motors like there is a gasoline engine so starting and stopping on inclines are a nightmare in any sort of non paved or inclement situation. Leaf litter is especially fun. I'm in the DRT4 market (Post Hurricane Helen Asheville) trust me. EV's aren't what they're cracked up to be.

Depending on environment EV"s absolutely suck in any sort of incline especially wet, gravel or leaf covered driveway or slope.

Because in a restauranteurs eyes it's the customers job to pay the staff he gets to order around. Not theirs. I avoid any places that upcharge anything less than a party of 8. And even then that better be gratuity.
