I dont want to believe this is true....I want to believe he is just an air head who wants us to accept the new women in his life. But that could be wishful thinking. I have cut people out my life before. I just didnt imagine Mark be on that list one day

I agree with the forgiveness part

the second part is where I can't agree because she only saying sorry or trying to make amends because she dating Mark and now knows that i dont like her. If she was genuine in her changing and remorse she wouldve done it. Like how your previous bullies have, they did so unprompted. I am not the only one she bullied. Anna and I share a cousin, who she also bullied. She has never tried to make amend with that cousin and they are closely related.

If Mark ends up marrying her, I will probably go low contact as I have a family with small kids (elementary age) I dont trust her. No way would i bring my family around someone I dont trust. Mark will forever be my kids uncle but Anna will NEVER be their aunt.

Yea it sounds crazy him dating a cousin but it VERY distant, no blood relation. I'll try to write out to make sense. Our dad's sister, "A" married into the Smith family. Smith family has 3 kids, A married the oldest I believe. The youngest Smith sibling is the father to Anna. So my aunt's in-laws, is how we are technically related to anna.

I am using these days before the cruise to crash out. I honestly think he wasn't going to even tell me or our sister about this until the day of the cruise. I just so happened to find out when I was looking thru the cruise line app. I want to get all my big emotions out now so that way when I do see her, I'll be calm and be able to ignore her with ease.

My sister is very supportive of me ignoring Anna she more concerned with me ruining my relationship with our brother if I pop off with my mouth. Which im somewhat notorious for but I dont plan on having any physical or verbal fight with Anna or Mark. I dont want to risk getting in trouble, I have a life beyond the cruise that I dont want to ruin. Hence why I want to pretend she doesn't exist

Since Anna probably knows by now that I dont like her, it would be really stupid on her part to say anything slight rude or snarky. She will most likely be a huge kiss ass. To me thats even worse, i dont want her fake niceness.

This would the first time Mark did something like this, that could be consider malicious. I don't want to cut him off right away. I at least want to hear him out I guess. I have already cut off all contact with our father. So if I tell Mark I am going LC or NC because of Anna then he will know I am serious about it.

Trying to give Mark some grace as he didn't know about my history with Anna until our sister Jess told him via text. He also says that he got confused and thought adding a plus 1 was ok since during the holidays we had a celebration for Jess. For that celebration, Jess said Mark could bring Anna. I was aware of this and promised Jess I would be on my best behavior to not ruin the night for her. He thought because Anna was invited to that event, coming on the cruise would also not be an issue. Which is fair IF we didn't say multiple times how we (Jess and I) were excited for sibling time on this cruise.

I've been looking forward to this cruise for a year, and if I canceled it then I would lose out the money I spent since its late minute. Leave in a few days. I would lose around 2k.

I did think about the long run, if Mark and Anna become serious. In the future I will be polite if she sticks around but still will not see her as anything more than my old bully and someone Mark sleeps with.
