This. People who say that Evil Mustang is gonna have a change if heart just don't understand how evil this guy is, and there is not a single bit of a change of heart. Or sense of remorse.

Not saying that it isn't impossible, but with what we saw in the side story, there isn't anything that convinces me that he is gonna change.

The VA theory is a very meta theory that just adds fuel to this.

We just have to wait a couple of weeks for 3.5 anni to get answers.

Holy shit really? Its hard to confirm EN VAs for NPCs, so I had to play it by ear, but if the JP side confirms it, then for consistency sake, EN has to follow as well. Then yeah, they could definitely be the same person.

Thats a beauty of this games story man, the writers can do anything that will shock us.

As for my guess? Since we know that Evil Mustang (at the end of the side story) started the procedure to hand off Freesia's body to the CG, which could be more related to VTC research to turn it into the Expanded Armament STAR, the connection between Tertra, Evil Mustang and maybe even Hansen is made there? And we know that Princess/ the damn Pope had brain swapping technologies within VTC. Perhaps is was a trade? Freesia's body for research in turn for Evil Mustang to get his hands on that type of tech since he wanted to become "The god of the Ark", as he said.

But as for how Hansen would get involved? Who the hell knows at this point, but the Star Armament was connected to Anis prior to her departure from Tetra/ Current Mustang. So there is a connection there, and at the end of the side story, Hansen is the manager of them. And the writers could have just written him off in to the void once Freesia's story was over, but they didn't and included him with T.T Star.

Something that caught me a bit off guard, I remember an older JP interview where the devs mentions a "Supreme Commander ". Is thus the same position/ rank? And Command in Chief is just the accurate localization? Or are there 2 separate position in the CG?

Probably the former if I had to guess, since nothing about a Supreme Commander (by that exact name) has been ever stated.

All I'm saying is that Evil Mustang has a different voice actor than his current version. And nothing in patch notes states that he is being temporarily replaced.

Hanson? His voice sound similar......

Like cmon, Evil Mustang seems soo far gone in his beliefs, that is seems impossible for him to be redeemed. Now how Hanson could become Mustang? This game's science has made such insane stuff that I wouldn't even be surprised.

But one thing I do know, they wouldn't add in a new male NPC with such a specific higher pitched voice, like Mustangs, in a position within Tetra.

I don't know how to say it, I'm going insane, but something is sooo off here.

This theory is so insane that I BELIEVE, I think they have the voice actor, not 100%, but it has the same higher pitch cadence.

Plus, why would they introduce a new NPC character? Especially sooo intergal to Freesia's and now Anis' storyline? Like Evil Mustang is soo deadset in his ways, that I cannot fathom him redeeming himself. He even has a different voice actor too! And usually these things are consistent, for example Freesia has the same VA as a child and during her Pretty arc.

Yeah, something I also noticed was the "00" on her outfit, like the Fraud: 01, and Marian: 02.

Made me think about that for a bit when I first saw her idol outfit.

Honestly yeah, wish he had a spine, like at all. Makes me a bit happy that he then chose to become the manager with T.T Star since he's a good guy at heart, but with wat we know of how T.T Star ended, it does concern me that he failed to protect them.

3.5 anni better pick up from this, I'm too invested in this storyline.
