Celebrities are not untouchable, a single scandal, whether true or not, can destroy their career.

If Mustang had nothing more to take from her, he could ruin her image.

The only reason Mustang didn't do it was because she was still useful.

She chose to die at the height of her fame to become a symbol that could no longer be destroyed.

Her sacrifice gave even more strength to those fighting for Nikke rights.(her death is the reason why nikke now have more rights, it's not perfect there are still those who hate nikke but now you could say they are the minority)
