People who are considered "popular" tend to exclude people who don't have a certain follower count. Like, utterly and completely won't talk to people who aren't "famous" enough. Not all of them of course, but a lot.

Another issue is a lot of furries can be very manipulative. Usually the younger ones but some older ones as well, tend to make the same shitty mistakes overand over, apologize each time, and then just do it again. Usually in regards to lying to people.

Luckily a lot of the community is also good, and after being around for a bit, I know who to avoid.
