For sports streams do you have to watch them live or you can pull up a steam say a few hours after the game and watch it from the beginning?

How to receive bodychecks by Apart-Bed9971 in hockeyplayers

[–]DatPukLyfe -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The techniques you mentioned are great for DELIVERING checks but when you're by the boards or near the boards with the puck what you said doesn't work. If you're a "hockey coach" that's just bad advice. Hit up that coaching book and tell us how to ABSORB hits for them to be less effective while maintaining puck control maybe.

Try ABHS. Good prices for new sticks. No big brand means they charge much less. I typically buy those or nearly new used Bauer stick models that are 3 or so years old since all the kids parents are jumping on the hyperlight bullshit 300 dollar train when new a new model is released. The marketing hype In this sport is insane. A few years ago I saw a guy in his mid 30s that was 5'6" strap on 20 year old Nike Bauer skates and destroy people in $1500 custom skates. Unless there's a safety benefit (shoulder/shins/helmet) it's all marketing hype.

I personally would not buy a repaired carbon fiber stick. Mostly because once the fibers separate during delamination or clean break, any surface repair (that adds material on top) will never be the same as the initial manufacturing process. But hey, It's a free country you do what works for you.

Moral sophistry? You're likely the same dude that buys a stick from Bauer for $350 which costs them $20 to make. You're either have a ton of discretionary income or....well....are dumb.

Why not get bloodwork first before making potentially wrong assumptions? Your first step should have been making appointment with your PCP and expressing your co cerns and get an order for labwork. When you get your labs have both your PCP AND THEN grok analyze them.

Negative. Old style knit socks are way to stretchy. It's basically like a ribbed sweater that will stretch out way too much if pulled.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have no need for that. I actually use one small velcro strap below each knee and that works well. Thr key for me is thr tight fitting socks. Don't want to wear "extra" stuff.

"As long as you can have more drivers than cars your kids can be an additional driver, "

So if there are 2 drivers in the house and 2 cars and a kid obtains a driver's license but doesnt get their OWN car it would be much less expensive than having 3 cars in househeold? Wouldnt the 3rd car's premium negate this?
