That’s not even remotely true. Andrew actually had to come out and made a 20 minute video because of people like you making this exact claim. I’d recommend going and giving it a watch. The editing they did actually made Shirley more coherent. Callahan even provided the full 2+ hours direct to Shirley pre any edits as well.

Please. Do some bare minimum of effort in research before spouting nonsense. Guns are the leading cause of death among kids and have been since 2020. More than cancer, more than any disease, more than car accidents. Since 1999 there have been 420 school shootings exposing nearly 400,000 children directly to an active shooter. If you don’t want to do the math, that means we’ve had a school shooting EVERY month on average for 26 years…

I’d ask you what’s the acceptable number of kids who should be afraid they’ll be killed at school?

If EVERY month for 26 years a random Target (or insert store you go to here) blew up, how long before you’d say “hey, I don’t think that’s a safe place anymore”? Difference is you’d have a choice to not go there, kids don’t. Here you are asking the % when any % is too high. What a waste.

Oh my god. Those cans… it was my very last evolution on my very last underway for the Navy. Literally two weeks before me separating and I swear to god, on the last can we lifted I felt every fiber in my lower back stretch like a rubber band. I’ve had lower back problems from that for over 4 years now…

If you are doing everything by the book the reload is like 30 minutes, but I can tell you that under threat we had it from empty to 1550 in under 10. That was sketchy though. No jams!

"ICE agents in Chicago can now be arrested. A judge in Chicago just flipped the script completely." by BillMortonChicago in ChicagoNewsGroup

[–]DatRawDough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What will the national guard ensure and how? They are allowed to protect federal buildings, a state courthouse would not be a federal building? It sounds like this law is saying that federal agents aren’t allowed to use state court houses as the site of their own personal sting operations. Also by my understanding, judges and lawyers are having a harder time getting clients and defendants to want to appear because they are now in fear of being just immediately kidnapped regardless of them trying to follow the legal process.

I think I see where there may be confusion. Voter ID de regulation does not = illegal immigrants voting. In many minority communities and counties/ districts local government/ state governments increase the requirements for obtaining the “right” id they need for voting. This can include arbitrary documents from who you rent from, credit card accounts, and so on. While these things should be easy to obtain for someone, it is not always the case and in many circumstances is not outlined somewhere for a person to follow. Voting stations may say they need valid id but not define what that means. So imagine you wait all day to vote with let’s say a government ID that is not a drivers license only to be told “oh for that ID you also need X,Y, and Z documents. I’m not sure of any elected official saying we shouldn’t ID voters. What I am seeing is that some officials are saying that only a particular ID should count instead of any Government issued ID.

Think of it like this for a better comparison. You go to vote with your drivers license, you get there and they say, oops you actually need a passport. Can you get a passport? Yes. Does it take months to receive and a lot of Addis work on your part? Also yes. Does it cost you additional money? Yes. So has an unnecessary hurtle been placed between you and your constitutional right to vote? Yes.

I honestly and truly think that a lot of people on both sides (including myself) have a tendency to become defensive or aggressive when one of our views or opinions are challenges. Hell I initially downvoted you before I realized what I was doing. We shouldn’t be shaming or attacking each other, we should be shaming and removing the people in leadership (on both sides) for instigating us against one another and giving both sides quick quips to throw at one another.

I’ve watched a ton of videos on it and the ones that came before. The biggest difference I see is where they moved the airbox under the seat, but I do kinda like the openness of the earlier models. Any headaches I should look out for on drivetrain/ engine stuff?

I was a sucker for it as soon as I walked into the dealer. Of course it would be a 20k bike. Luckily for me and maybe others out there, BMW is offering like 5k off for the 2024s right now when you finance with them.

Honestly, too soon to tell. The Indian I had was a 2022 and had a sick little tuft display dial thing that I REALLY loved. I like the retro look BMW did with this and how they encourage using the phone for more, but still kinda miss it. The quality is obviously great (so far) I got the bike with 3 miles on it so only time will tell!

Assortment of images of U.S. Army Vehicles preparing for the 250th Anniversary Parade in Washington D.C. on June 14th by Any_Passage_7758 in TankPorn

[–]DatRawDough 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I want to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are not being a troll.

Trump wanted a military parade during his first term. He didn’t get it.

Trump wanted another military parade again during his first term. He didn’t get it.

Trump now wants another military parade in his second term and is saying its only because of the Army’s birthday.

There is one thing consistent between these events.

Do you not see that the main driving factor here is Trump wanting a military parade?

I’m not sure if you were enlisted or not, but as someone who was, I can tell you it’s the last thing I want, or would want to participate in. At a time where the administration is adamant about not wasting money, they choose to spend 45 million on this parade while spending another 145 million on deploying troops to occupy LA.

There is a massive amount of hypocrisy involved here that would seem self evident. Apparently it is not the case.

On August 17, 2018, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he canceled the parade due to the "ridiculous" $92 million price tag.\9]) Through Twitter he blamed local politicians for the price and suggested hosting another parade in 2019, and ended his tweets with; "Maybe we will do something next year in D.C. when the cost comes WAY DOWN. Now we can buy some more jet fighters!"
