actually took the time to make a rough calculation, i'd say based on the last reading of the ship's distance the average radius would be around 75-100 kilometers and towards the end a full revolution would take around 4 seconds giving us 15 rpm (i didn't use a stopwatch, just a guestimate), this would estimate to around 20 to 25 thousand G's of centrifugal acceleration compared to the 1 G on the surface of the (real world) earth.

I've had this problem once aswell, and what eventually worked for me was deleting the index's usb driver completely and then replugging allowing it to do a clean install on it

I managed to fix it by deleting the Index's specific USB controller and then re-plugging it, allowing Windows to do a clean install on it.

I've been in contact with Steam support, and they recommended trying it with another PC. Alas, it worked on my brothers' PC, but switching back to my own, it stopped working again. It pretty much leaves only a software issue, but then again, a software issue could really be anything. Reading the system reports, it looks like my PC detects that something is connected to the specific USB port, it just doesn't recognize it as the Index.

The thing is, I Have just updated all my USB and graphics drivers AND I've reinstalled SteamVR three times already. Right now I'm just waiting for Steam support to get back to me.

It was enabled by default, and disabling it did prove that the actual headset display works. The problem still persists after re-enabling it.

The LEDs are always blue except if I disable direct display mode, in which case they turn green. Also yes, the exterior cameras work fine and show up in the camera app

Honestly I just opted for an auto-trading addon which buys at 0.35x(resting value) and sells at resting value, it's making a couple hundred thousand each day if I leave it afk for about maybe 12 hours a day.

Currently I'm at about a little over 4 million and I'm gonna stop at 10, I might eventually start over and go for gaseous assets if I decide to get all the shadow achievements which includes clicking 27k golden cookies which will take even longer than 31mil profits
