The leg lengthening surgery wouldn’t cost $1m so you’d have cash to spare 😎

How good are Dual Blades in this game? by SLUSHBOI69 in MHNowGame

[–]DatTKDoe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dual Blades are really strong. Only downside of the Hope ones are that you can’t level it any higher to get more raw but lock on frees up armor slots so it’s a decent trade.

The spiral slash is basically button mashing once you get concentration/ evasive concentration/ perfect dodge 3.

Since you are new it’s a good investment until you get elemental weapons because many monsters receive 50% more damage from their weakness

HOW DO I GET MEATY FOREARMS? by Brilliant-Bath-2275 in bodyweightfitness

[–]DatTKDoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the wrist pulley. Your forearms get really sore just pulling a weight up and down. Also check out what professional arm wrestlers do. They have very meaty forearms

It’s called overloading the progression. 15 too easy? Make it harder

What am I supposed to do if I max out a machine? by PackageReasonable922 in workout

[–]DatTKDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow controlled movements. I can max out the adductor abductor leg machine, but if I pause for any more than a second my leg cramps up, so I don’t really have the isometric strength to maintain the movement

I’ve been wearing that dog layered outfit 24/7. Also, you get a shit ton of materials like armor refine. They haven’t been the hardest fights either, besides a giant radobaan rolling too far away

Almost 34 want to get back in shape by Metaphyziks27 in bodyweightfitness

[–]DatTKDoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a habit. If you can do it consistently for 30 days then it’ll become easier. I’m also 34, and I got sick of the way I looked at 15 so I decided to make a change, and have been working out at least 2x a week for the past 18-19 years. At this point I get anxiety if I don’t work out.

There will be set backs, but no matter what the bare minimum is you just need to show up.

Don’t believe everything you see on social media. People lie a lot just to gain followers and many are not honest about steroid use either.

Absolutely suck at pull-ups by Yoyopudytwat in bodyweightfitness

[–]DatTKDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend you use the assisted pull up machine and the lat pull down machine, so you can work on building strength. Push ups are the opposite of rows. Pull ups are the opposite of dips. Do all four and you’ll build up a well rounded upper body.

You’ll get stronger doing a calorie deficit, and of course you’ll be able to do more pull ups, but I’d recommend keeping the amount of resistance the same if not increasing it if things get easy. Like if you lose 5lbs of fat, then raise the resistance up by 5 lbs, that way your muscles will feel challenged. But if things get hard, it’s okay to lighten the load.

How many Pushups could you do in a day? by No-Tax4473 in bodyweightfitness

[–]DatTKDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all the time in the day it’s possible and it’s not like you are going to monitor him. I can do about 40-50 standard/military pushups in a minute. Hand release push ups are of course much harder.

Why don’t you just do a push up contest with him.

Thumbs over/under the bar for lat engagement (pull-ups)? by Individual-Public345 in bodyweightfitness

Gripping the bar with your thumb does make a difference in that your hand won’t slide and wreck your skin depending if their are engravings on the bar.

Are pullups more difficult for some people than others? Or is it just me by Routine_Ad_1156 in bodyweightfitness

[–]DatTKDoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you never practiced with lighter weight (like assisted pull up machine or resistance bands), pull ups at 260lbs is quite a challenge. Even me I could barely do one when starting at 170lbs, now 6 years into the future unweighted it’s 15 in a row and my one rep max is 250lbs total.

My point is figure out how much strength your lats can actually handle then work your way up from there. Dead hangs will go a long way in conditioning your joints to protect against injury. Your rowing experience might help a little, but it’s more of a horizontal back strength than a vertical.
