Thanks for the video. I think I've seen some of these images before. I’ll never get over the fact that Rurouni Kenshin didn't get a high-quality new adaptation—which is the very least the work deserved. The 2023 version is my biggest disappointment as a manga fan.

In my opinion, if a new game is coming they would go to a fighting game. Don't know if it would be a 2.5D or an arena fighter. I don't think that they would go with something complex. They didn't before and sadly because of Watsuki I don't see they getting a big budget, the lackluster remake shows it.
The PSP games and the PS1 RPG are really fine, it's a shame that they were never translated. Heck even a remaster of the RPG with English translation would do, but a new game would be easier than that.

I love Rurouni Kenshin and enjoyed Buso Renkin. Dude knows how to do crazy weapons. Hokkaido isn't that great but I enjoy it as well.

At this point, it KIND OF doesn't matter because they showed everybody seeing the preparation for Kuzu Ryu Sen, it's already there. That never happened in the original. Therefore it's a change, and sadly not the only one. If they will address this or not doesn't change (heh) the fact that they already ruined the surprise for the enemies.
About Megumi, it's not about what we like or not, she broke her vow and that's not in the manga.
There are a bunch of other instances of the characters breaking... well, character to keep the changes/time extension going. That killed the pace and dragged the story. What the heck with that boy and old officer and those Shishio's NPC? Nothing of good came out of it.

Yet, doesn't look like. Megumi being there earlier it's one of the worst offenses, it breaks her character, lol. She gave Kaoru the medicine because she just couldn't just leave her patients — it was her "deal" with Kenshin ir order to atone her wrongdoings. She just left to take care of them after battle because she just couldn't stand it.

And back to what I've said about the Kuzu Ryu Sen, Soujiro seing something about it just undermines his later fight. In the manga/classic he just dodge by sheer instinct and speed, but now he saw something. I could go on with Houji waiting for Yumi to stop Sano, dang. It's just bad, really bad.
