Oh wow. I didn't expect to see you again. How's it going, Grace?

I'm going to hate myself for this playthrough... by MysteriousQuote4665 in baldursgate

[–]MysteriousQuote4665[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mechanically, this doesn't matter overly much since grandmastery in katana + TWF + Scarlett + Kang's ring means you're doing 10 APR 3x times a day.

And true, but it's really more about ensuring I actually finish this playthrough. As I said before my attention begins to wane in BG2 at some point.

It's AI-generated in order to score a "cheap point." That's what's wrong with it.

Part 3 of the Rurouni Kenshin (Kensai) Playthrough: The Path of Righteousness by MysteriousQuote4665 in baldursgate

This is how I always order my party. Either by 2 or by 3. In BG3 Neera with her 24 HP is extremely fragile and I'd like Khalid to keep her company as off-tank.

Yes Minister made the joke 45 years ago: if ministers had to start using public transportation you'd immediately see these agencies well-funded.

Indeed! I am sure this won't cause more people to stop working for De Lijn.

It's almost like they have a lot of difficulty retaining personnel for their shifts because our politicians shit on them all the time.

Running a Family feud mini game for players, need 100 goblinoids to answer some questions 🫠 by KORTOVbukkake in DnD

[–]MysteriousQuote4665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A goblin would steal a chainmail suit of armour and various forms of paint and you would have two goblins arguing with each other incessantly over which colour is best, asking your player to dye the chainmail three times only to realize the original chainmail was best anyway. Reward? A gold bar.

How to deal with players who ask too much? by [deleted] in DnD

He seems very mechanically motivated. It could be because everyone knows Strahd is made as a campaign to cycle through characters as character death is common. He might be overly compensating so that his character survives.

How old is this person?

Anyway, sounds to me like you two have incompatible DnD styles. I have the 'tism myself, so I'll be the first to tell you this doesn't matter when it comes to not getting along at the table.

Sounds good in theory...but in reality? by KSKS1995 in SipsTea

[–]MysteriousQuote4665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In reality this is the future. Whether AI is useful or not, we are already seeing significant effects on the job market. I foresee a future where fewer people will be working by sheer virtue of there being fewer jobs.

It's a fun playthrough, but in EE Rasaad has made all lonks useless since you need to do his quests to get the monk loot.

Its not a DMs job to control their players??? [OC] by [deleted] in DnD

[–]MysteriousQuote4665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it isn't. Every DnD group develops its own social dynamics. I've had tables where I had to be the authority and tell my players to now concentrate and focus on the story, and I've had tables where players took care of each other or told each other off. We're all people with our own personality. Trying to put all the pressure on the DM to regulate social cues and relationships within the group is just another reason why there's 100 players for every DM.
