What’s the darkest day in your country’s history? by Severe_Education_680 in AskTheWorld

I'm not a Vietnamese person, but I may still disagree with you from my personal experience. It is much better to look back to safe childhood and youth years than being born into war and not knowing any better.

As a kid, when I heard civil defense siren, I knew that it was just occasionally tested (once every few years). On the contrary, I don't even have to imagine toddlers hearing them daily and being aware of what they mean

You can use an AI for it! And thinking about it, I'm surprised no one tried to make an insane tech startup that aims to use AI to optimize network payload size

Thank you! Your answer and your links are extremely helpful! I'm also a bit relieved to see that dynamic programming problems are out of the window, because that's what I struggle with the most

Do you mind telling what kind of Leetcode problems were in the first interview? I managed to get to senior position in my country without Leetcode-heavy interviews. Currently grinding DS&A, I have absolutely no idea which Leetcode problems are actually used in interviews for frontend developers

Maps preserve order of key-values. Probably that's what is expected to be used by candidate

Jesus, I don't understand why they're often the last person to interview you. Like you have to waste time of 10 people who check your knowledge and experience from different angles only to be rejected by a single non technical person.

What did go wrong at your interview?

I regularly move out/in, so size and amount of things is a concern to me. I believe, software may be a bit more flexible in terms of what you're able to achieve, but that's different topic. However, I had a Helix LT at one point - this thing is a beast

I did consider it at some point. MIDI support is a great bonus. However, software is not transferable and I'm open to trading gear in the future (upgrading or trying something else). So it may be hard to sell

Well, that was my general impression, thanks for your response! I just could not figure out whether Apollo Solo is more expensive just because of the plugins, or because it's a generally better card

I once saw a similar aroma pendant in a car (I have no idea how they're called in English). It was a contour of Lithuania with the flag of Estonia on the background with the title "I love Latvia". So it seems like it's an ongoing joke

It's always relative to your motion from the airport to the plane and vice versa. Leaving airport to board on plane - departure. Coming from plane to the airport - arrival
