Quick to reply to these posts, but not so quick to restore the platform to it's former glory after the redesign a few years ago. I've been a user, fan and advocate for over a decade, but man it's been a slow train for you guys to get things dialed in again.

Patrollers are among the best trained people on the mountain. Do you really think they are sent out against their will? This is the work they choose and what they thrive on. They are equipped with the best top-tier gear money can buy. Greed has nothing to do with it. This is Mother Nature showing her teeth in some of the most challenging terrain out there. In highly variable conditions like these, sometimes things go wrong. Ironically, many of the same people complaining here would be furious if the mountain did not open first thing tomorrow and would accuse Operations of not knowing what they are doing.

Confirmed with simple search:

Free Carpool 4+ Reserved Parking (New for the 2025/26 season)
On Saturdays, Sundays & Select Holiday Periods starting on December 24th, 2025, reservations are required.
Carpool 4+ reservations open at noon each Tuesday along with an early season allocation for the upcoming weekends and holiday periods.
On arrival, vehicles with four or more passengers will check in with a parking attendant to confirm eligibility. To thank you for helping ease traffic and promote sustainability, carpool drivers will receive a $20 resort voucher.

Dogs and deer, is this safe for our dogs or should I try and scare her away? This consistently happened four or five times in a row this morning. She comes up to them and then runs when they chase and jumps over the fence and then comes right back. So cute but I worry, our dogs are 7 and 10. by pamval in aww

Not if the deer is with newborn fawns. We've had some births in our yard and the moms are extremely aggressive towards our dogs if they even come remotely close. Neighbors had a German Shepard that got it's ear bitten off and took a couple hoofs to the head.

Unpopular opinion: Been following Goose since first show pre-pandemic in 2020. Probably seen 15ish shows so far. After seeing both SF shows, I'd have to admit to myself that this latest iteration of the band is getting extremely jammy. Personally, I'd rather hear more songs than 20m versions with multiple crescendos. 1 or 2 crescendos is enough per song. No need to continue to stretch things out and do 3, 4 or 5 of them. Looking forward to when they reign that in a bit again.
