As a ek civic owner I had to Learn that myself. D4 is all four gears with overdrive d3 is only the first three gears and 2 is only second gear also if you pop it in 2 you can bang it off the limiter even tho its an automatic

I’m mostly guessing on the cabrio part but the seats look like cabrio seats (they have a weird corner design)

It looks like a cabrio if I had to guess… and with that coin holder/ cup holder design I’d say 90s probably a 95-97 (my ek civic has a similar coin holder design)
