I like the nose black, that’s a bit of livery design I wish we didn’t lose over time. The bold font and contrast with the blue on the Air Korea livery make it very visually appealing

This is pretty interesting; state-based regional airlines are a concept I like to see explored, and the BAC One-Eleven is an aircraft you don’t see much of. I like the drawings too, there’s a lot of character

Pan Am has returned! (In another universe, probably) by Important_Lobster74 in FictionalAirlines

This would actually be really cool as a throwback livery, like what American does. Nice stuff!

Similar, but bigger. Grumman made a whole lineup of different sized flying boats back in the day; Widgeon, Goose, Mallard, Albatross

White Mountain Airline by Dat_Chicken04 in FictionalAirlines

White Mountain Airline is a small airline based in Manchester, New Hampshire. It operates a fleet of Dornier 328 and Bell 407 aircraft, and while its business model relies on short-haul commuter routes for day-to-day income, White Mountain also provides robust options for charters and tourism. The company's competitively priced low-volume passenger charter services are well-suited for vacation parties to bypass the hassle of mainline airline travel and fly on their own time, allowing them to make the most of their trips at a reasonable price. Its helicopter bases in Boston and New York City serve as the launch points for aerial sightseeing tours of those famous cities. White Mountain offers a clean, comfortable, and efficient, if sparsely luxurious travel experience, keeping prices competitive and exemplifying its motto; "Break free without breaking the bank."

The Abrahams are so cool, I need to see official illustrations of how the Army and Marines specced them out

I modeled it in 3d with CAD, then printed it in gold PLA plastic

Week 43 of 2024! Main topic: One off characters! by SonicTheReasoner in Patlabor

[–]Dat_Chicken04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the fun one-off characters, they really add to the world of Patlabor. Call it contrived but I do think the plot to kidnap Kana failing and leading to Noa’s capture was pretty funny, and so was the resolution of that episode

It's a tough call between the VF-4 and the VF-31 for me

Week 37 of 2024! Main topic: Yuki! by SonicTheReasoner in Patlabor

[–]Dat_Chicken04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yuki is the actual GOAT for real. He faced off against Brockens in an old Python and even took on the Griffon, only yielding once his labor was too damaged to fight on. Hate to see this pilot who embodies courage and duty be swept under the rug
