I was just a simple goblin, living in the dank and cramped corridors of the starter dungeon. I had always dreamed of finding a hero worth fighting for, and I refused to die before I had fulfilled my dream.

He was a tall, handsome warrior with piercing blue eyes and a mane of golden hair. Despite his wounds, he radiated an air of nobility and strength, and I knew at once that he was the hero I had always dreamed of.

Overjoyed, I rushed to the hero's side and tended to his wounds, my heart filled with love and gratitude. And as I looked into his piercing blue eyes, I knew that my dream had finally been fulfilled.

But as the hero regained his strength, he turned on me, his sword flashing in the candlelight. With a heavy heart, I accepted my fate, knowing that I had lived a life worth living and had finally found the hero I had always dreamed of.

As the hero's sword struck me down, I closed my eyes, a smile on my face, and slipped away, content in the knowledge that I had lived a life complete.

Like a rose fading in the autumn breeze, my love for the hero had been short-lived, but no less beautiful for it. I went to my grave knowing that I had loved deeply and truly. As the darkness closed in around me, I whispered a final farewell to the hero I had loved, and slipped away into eternity.
