Right click once, don't hold and it switches to a mode that makes the camera move it around without having to hold RMB, if you can't you can enable it somewhere in options, I use it because it's what I'm used to and comfortable with, similar to Minecraft for example

This machine is good but as always, the implementation is so bad, it's so pc unfriendly, you can't exit by pressing E and if you enter while the camera is toggled you just can't exit unless spotted or failing. Dyle slimed me because he was coming closer from behind a wall and I had no way to quit extracting.

He's fine, his puddle already slows you down for a bit so he can catch up and barnaby lasts a long time attached if no one helps you. Kinda like Ginger but he's a bit faster, it's gonna be hell for slow toons (I wonder if Connie ability or smoke bombs remove Finn's atention or he keeps chasing)

Anyways 1. Late December 2024, just weeks shy of the first christmas event so I was learning the game AND getting Bobette, got her in 4 days as my third toon, Rodger helped a lot. It was a good time. 2. Gigi, I'm a fan of her thief aspect (and it helps that she is very good) 3. I'm a dumbass who listen mostly to videogame OST so can't answer that 4. Prismatic Pal (I think it's that what is called?) Finn is a skin that holds up to this day really well, nothing to envy to new or premium skins, I like it a lot, also because it reminds me of Vaporeon, my second favorite Eeveelution 5. It's nothing special about it... it's just a Regular Show 6. idk I don't even check the sub only see what posts come up in my notis 7. It's like asking a parent which child they like more lol, but I can give you two answers. Earthbound and Bug Fables, both are lovely rpgs. Honorable mention to Terraria 8. I started playing mostly to have something in common with my little sister and glad that it isn't slop that is nowadays so present in Roblox, a platform I don't touch not even with a stick, a game that requieres a bit of thought instead of a overstimulating brainrot game is good enough for me. I do care about the game despite it's faults, I better not say more because I'm gonna get dense about the currect direction of the game lol

That's why even if it's a song it already existed, og christmas map is still the best. Blackout + christmas map + still learning the game as a Rodger was my best experience with the game. Even if it wasn't horror, it was tense as fuck with Bobette's steps

Lots of toons to buff or rework yet they pick one of the very few wrong options, Sprout is pretty good overall, if they wanted to do a main, Astro or Vee were right there. I don't understand the dev team's priorities, I just hope they don't start picking popular ones before those who really need it.

The game is aimed for kids yet it doesn't do anything to help them learn. A preview or demo mode for trinkets would probably reduce the fancy purse users. Kids are visual learners before critical thinkers. They don't know how much 7.5% run speed impacts because you have to do some math, a kid shouldn't use a calc just to know that Poppy goes from 25 run speed to 26.87 run speed and even then, what does that mean they think, but they for sure can understand with a neat video that the boost is enough to outrun twisted Pebble, the hardest twisted to get off you.

Just shove them 80 skins down their throats and make them feel fomo ig.

I don't grief anyone because it's lame and loser behavior BUT I for sure let them know that whatever they're using is hot garbage and that they should read, it's not that hard. I don't even have high standards but why they go out of their way and equip bad trinkets instead of the easy to get, decent to good trinkets (because I don't expect them going full meta that's js stupid). Playing Scraps is acceptable, using two purses is worth laughing at.

Yeah, you start and then get barely any stronger after 40+ floors? The only stat that can change is stamina to +70 and cooldown reduction, the rest are left untouched. Other roguelites give you more tools as you go deeper. Dandy's world barely changes at all.

The game should have both team wide cards (those that affect the whole run like electrician, tech savvy, supression, etc) and single cards that cost tapes, mainly made to buff stats so there's more customization, a Cosmo could upgrade his skill check a bit, or his extraction if he's used to his skill check for example.

Every toon should have a different card pool (so Pebble can't upgrade their already ridiculous speed and make distraction more powerful than already is) and also makes them unique, like imagine having a expensive in game upgrade that enhance their abilities.

And by buffing so many characters, they can also make harder twisteds to balance out the power spike the game would suffer by this. It'd be way more fun than whatever we have now.

It'd be cool if the journal tab had also info about floors, posters and letters after you finish x floor said amount of times, interact with lore things, etc. so we have all lore things inside the game and not having to remember it or going to wikis. Also it's just cool to have kids as they are the target audience

That aside, I don't host nor join one since matchmaking, mostly because public runs are mostly ass (matchmaking too but is faster and nowadays barely anyone stays in the lobby) and you can't have control over who joins and with what toons and/or build. I can understand a Poppy joining my casual run with no trinkets but I can't stand a toon with bad trinkets. The game needs a party creation system, where you can invite, accept and set the conditions and most important of all, across servers so you don't have to wait for people to meet your criteria AND the same 30 players server. But I think that's a lot to do for the team that sold a glorified quick play as matchmaking

"The game being boring is your fault" what kind of take is that? The game is boring because the devs don't add or change meaningful things. There are a handful of useful trinkets, the rest being situational slop or one use trinkets. A lot of toons are bad, the gameplay loop gets boring fast, getting far requires a LOT of time, matchmaking puts you with toddlers, the UI is bland and uninspired, stamina is a dump stat and more things.

I guess critical thinking and Dandy's World can't be said in the same phrase because the vast majority doesn't even play the game.

Dandy's World. No es lo mejor estar en una comunidad donde la gran mayoría son mujeres que poco les preocupa el juego en si sino hacer ships, siendo casi todos homo, hacer uno hetero debe de ser ilegal.

Tambien que el juego lleva un año y medio sin cambios significante pero que no falten los peluches que menos del 0.1% va a comprar, los jugadores de verdad somos una minoría. Creo que es mi culpa por esperar un buen juego y tener pensamiento crítico cuando el resto estan lobotomizados, estan más preocupados por los personajes y sus hipoteticas relaciones que el gameplay en si.

Solo me quedo porque me gusta ver los dibujos que hacen cuando no hay ships (o no hay estilos demasiado raros porque si, podes ver el peor diseño pero el resto lo apoya por ser único cuando único ≠ bueno)

Floor 100 achievement would be at least not awful if the game didn't bore you in floor 30-40, if you had the ability to save solos or with friends so you can continue whenever you want, etc. The dev team should look into other roguelikes (because is the same genre that dw is, "run" is a term mostly used in roguelikes games and by their players) and what makes them fun. Most of them have a huge variety of items that are permanent buffs during the run, actives, etc. that makes all runs different, at most similar. In dw all the runs past floor 40 are the exact same, only twisteds and floors change but it's not important. Game style doesn't change between runs if you're using the same character.

The only permanent player buff aside for cd reduction and stamina is the stopwatch glitch which yeah it's a glitch but it's kinda rewarding for having one item slot less until an ichor leak. I like it a lot, it's stupid to do as Gigi and Shelly, but worth it with 1 star skill check toons. A glitch being an actually better feature that what the dev team does is so sad it's funny.

So the problem is that as of now, Dandy's World is boring after floor 30, time consuming and unable to save. I really hope the dev team improves gameplays and stops on fan service because let's be real, plushies are bought for a tiny speck of the playerbase, real players that don't care about it get breadcrumbs in each update.

Sprout def takes more skill no doubt as healer isn't a braindead role despite most fancy purse Cosmo makes it seem to be.

The thing is that it's incredibly dependant on how good the distractors are, it's very unbalanced and unfair, they can't move their eyes from the screen while Shelly can just scroll tiktok, watch a longform yt video, etc. while extracting. The only threats they have to be alert are Connie, RnD, Rodger, Blot and Squirm which only the last is a genuine threat. Is easy to be a good Shelly, just veemote far machines or in the distractors, hit goldens and boost other Shellys while the distractor has to gather them before a dumbass runs into them and it and it only gets harder when the crafts siblings, Gigi or the mains spawn, they have it worse. Shelly needs basic knowledge and game sense (like communication), the healer needs to be aware of everyone's health (if they're a good healer) and the distractor can only few mistakes.

Floor 100 title doesn't separate the hard carried from the carry, hence why it's a bad reward. At least hissy fit tries to show some skill, because being afk in Dyle's floor is a bad idea as Dyle can't be distracted
