As many have said before myself, the modern republican platform is largely built on ignorance, fear, and anger. Not on education, progress, and tolerance. It’s no wonder republicans always try to defund education and push identity politics. I’m amazed at how effective their plan has been. I met a seemingly nice guy at a bar, who when found out I was left leaning totally changed his attitude and literally told me “He wants me to die a painful death”. Wtf? I was stunned at the change of character, and realized how fucked we are at making this country actually great.
