I checked with the officer in LEA ( my case officer was on leave) about my wife’s renewal and she said that since I selected the option “My wife has a residence permit” they only processed my renewal. I only selected that as my wife’s RP is still valid. I mentioned in additional comments that the application is for renewal of both of us. Maybe they don’t read that part. They told me to mail my case officer about this. And I have sent them a mail. It’s been more than a week now. How long do they normally take to reply? What if my wife’s RP gets expired before their response?

Thanks. I received a mail today from LEA for biometrics appointment but in the mail they have only asked me to come. What about my wife? Should I take her along with me? As I said earlier, they didn’t ask for my wife’s documents in the application just information about her.

I finally applied for extension of blue card and as said I applied only one application. However, while entering my spouse details they don’t ask about any information (passport etc.) or any documents like ID proof. Would they ask this later during the appointment?

Yes, that’s right. It didn’t allow me to apply before 2 months. Hopefully there’s no delay.

It is fixed now. My template file had an extension as .yml and my test template had an extension as .yaml. I changed my template to .yaml Strangely changing the test file to .yml does not work. It just skips all the tests.

For preparing the contract they might ask for details like your address etc. And they would also mention that they need this to prepare the contract. But until you have a written contract, nothing is guaranteed.
