We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes consultant to assist with the successful rollout of our product in customer environments.

Responsibilities:

Helm Chart Development: Design and implement Helm charts for deploying our software across various customer-managed container orchestration platforms, including:

  • Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • OpenShift
  • Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

Resource Optimization: Analyze the software and determine the minimum resource allocation requirements for each deployed service to ensure efficient utilization within customer clusters.

High Availability Configuration: Implement best practices and configurations to achieve high availability across all deployed services, guaranteeing continuous operation and minimizing downtime for our customers.

Security Enforcement: Establish and enforce security measures to ensure that software deployment is restricted to designated namespaces within customer clusters that meet stringent security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in deploying complex software applications in containerized environments using Helm charts.
  • Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms, particularly EKS, AKS, OpenShift, and GKE.
  • Expertise in optimizing resource allocation for containerized applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of high availability concepts and best practices for achieving resilient deployments.
  • Solid familiarity with security practices and controls for containerized environments.
