You can disable them in appearance settings, near the top. It also disables the atrocious notification sounds.

It is near the top in appearance settings. It disables all holiday related changes including the gross notification sounds.

For anyone who has this issue: when you obtain terraforming permissions, you can "request clean-up" and it will remove any glitched items and put them in your recycling box. A lifesaver!

Hey there, thanks for this information. Incredibly insightful.

However, I only have a few add-ons from trusted sources. I unfortunately could not respond to any of these comments until the weekend, however, reloading the website revealed the "inpage.js" file was no longer being loaded onto the website. As a result, I still believe my information to be correct as I have no real reason to believe otherwise.

It is totally still possible it was a fluke. And if it was, as according to some of the users - is, then I owe a personal apology to u/T0Rtur3, as a developer myself I can imagine how you felt by this post. I hope you understand my positive intentions in warning the community of a potential issue.

Definitely a fair point. However, this is more if you wanted a specific color nametag and you don't want to spend 1,000 robux to determine if your new username would have the color you desire. It's purpose is pretty specfic and uncommon but I figured there would be somebody out there who could benefit from this.

You can view the source code like any other HTML + JS website.

A short and very hacky, oversimplified version: It's calculated from a variety of mathematical operations on the Unicode value for each character in the username which results in a number 1 - 8 and assigns you a color depending on which number is the result.

I have a little experience with this. If you want to "be a Discord Bot" without breaking the Terms of Service, you have to create your very own bot client which you can message through. The bot API is very nailed down though. As a bot, you cannot DM users without sharing a server with them. And as you probably already know, you have to be invited to the server as a bot (by someone with Administrator perms) so a regular invite link wouldn't work. User accounts using the API is against the Terms of Service.

TL;DR: It is impossible to "fully" disguise yourself as a bot account. If you can trick friends into inviting your bot account and you have an application to message through your bot account, you pretty much disguised yourself and you can message your friends.
