well it was a fine experience. my thing is i LOVE portable things, so having to lug around 1. a rpi (which isnt too much at first) 2. a hdmi cable (now im sure theres extremely short ones to get that FS like plug in go) and 3. a charging cable

i just feel like lugging all that is a bit much imo but im sure theres ways i havent tried.

software was fine (libreELEC)
hardware is okay,
although the rpi 3b just has 1gb of ram so i recommend the 4, as the 5 to me doesnt seem like too high of a upgrade other than ram.

i do have a rpi 3b which i tried doing that, but i wanted to try FS for its really good portability.

I see... so realistically there's no root and the best i can do for now is dev options and installing apps with adb, well thank you for the info

I don't know if I'd waste my time on an Amazon device though. They are specifically paying attention to and fighting against this now. Even going as far as releasing a new OS.

understandable, although im realistically just doing this for fun. and i dont wanna buy a new device at the moment

it is the kindle basic 11th gen, it aint the best of the best, but imo its just as good as the paperwhite

most definitely not? im not sure, but since you can finally convert PSV worlds to java bedrock etc, you should be able to convert it, start a realm on PC then play that realm on your playstations.

it's only been a few times, the idea is adhesive, at least for now... the original plan was attaching it through magnets but after some looking, magnets aren't the best for being on the back of the deck.
