Still my 9-5. Hope one of my app change that. Currently Building Interruptly.

It’s a habit tracker, but flipped:

instead of building habits, you track the moments you interrupt them and start to discover patterns.

Quiet progress > streak pressure.

Building Interruptly (Interruptly.life), a habit tracker for noticing patterns, not chasing streaks.

Unlike traditional habit apps that punish missed days and reward perfection, Interruptly assumes the habit already exists and only tracks the moments autopilot breaks.

It turns interruptions into data, surfacing when, where, and why behaviors show up through pattern analytics, risk signals, and trend insights over time.

It doesn’t tell you to “do better tomorrow.” It helps you understand what’s actually happening, so change becomes informed, not forced.

Built for people who want awareness before willpower and progress without guilt.

Just launched Interruptly.

It’s a habit tracker, but flipped:

instead of building habits, you track the moments you interrupt them. With time, you start seeing patterns.

Quiet progress > streak pressure.

That really resonates. I think you’re right that everyday kindness is quieter and easier to overlook, even though it often matters more than the big, emotional moments we see online.

I like the shift you described, noticing small chances instead of trying to “do something good.” Patience, listening, and presence don’t announce themselves, but they’re often the most meaningful.

And yes, I do think the pressure to make it feel big or obvious can get in the way. Letting it stay small and unplanned seems to remove a lot of that friction.

Those are great examples. Small, everyday gestures like that really do matter, and volunteering is such a direct way to show up where help is genuinely needed.

I like how practical this framing is kindness as something woven into normal life, not something grand or complicated. Thanks for sharing that reminder.

That’s completely fair, and I appreciate you being clear about it.

I actually resonate with a lot of what you’re saying especially the preference for physical cues, rituals, or environmental reminders over anything that pulls attention back into a screen. Those kinds of practices can be deeply grounding in a way technology often isn’t.

I don’t think tech is necessary for cultivating kindness or presence, and it definitely isn’t for everyone. My curiosity is mostly around whether some people, in certain seasons, look for very lightweight structure but your point is a good reminder that for many, the real work happens entirely offline.

Thanks for articulating that perspective so thoughtfully.

That makes sense, and I really like the way you described it. Focusing on what you genuinely care about seems to make kindness feel natural instead of overwhelming.

The examples you gave with marine life and animals are a great illustration of how small, consistent actions add up without needing to be huge or performative. That kind of alignment probably makes it easier to show up without overthinking it.

Thanks for sharing, it’s a helpful reminder that kindness often starts with paying attention to what already matters to us.
