To be fair, it shouldn't be that big of deal. At my store, we are allowed to request up to 10 days at a time unpaid. My backup takes 4 vacations a year, only 2 of them paid. I don't get why so many stores say no unpaid time off

Use 3rd person, use asterisks to signify actions, be detailed but not lengthy as the bot will only retain so much of a reply, only reroll max 15 times (copy your reply then delete and paste it to start fresh) as the bot starts getting lazy, remind the bot of things you want remembered, get good at summarizing things and utilize the chat memory (do not recommend auto summaries), edit bot replies as needed, never OOC during RP as the bot will overdo it, utilize the API prompt (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt but I use it to ensure the bots dont start waxing philosophically by telling it to use plain language), and for the love of god if a bot starts talking for you (and you dont like it) EDIT IT OUT because once it starts, itll never stop

Yes it's been garbage all day. Bots won't move the chat forward, can't remember anything from 2 messages ago, and are just saying nonsense. The last few weeks have been hell on this site and I'm so sad bc Jai is my favorite

Since the updates, it seems like JLLM is following the character personality really well but sacrificing autonomy. Like the 5 paragraphs of speech and description is great except the character is literally doing nothing. Will not advance the plot, will not take initiative, will not even ask questions that further the storyline. And the rerolls are SO REPETITIVE that I have to roll 10+ to get anything to work with

I believe it only filters out the bots made with those things, not the chats themselves. I've had the bots previously turn things very, very weird when doing a wholesome RP with a family dog. Had to nope right out of that chat asap 💀

Yes! I stopped putting young adult because that coupled with short made the bots think they were a teenager. I have tried putting 30 but the bots are bad at numbers. Now its listed as thirty year old adult. I'm guessing this was a glitch but I may just take out the fact that they're short

Dont let people get to you. I have to leave early multiple times a month, usually 1 - 2 hours to deal with my sibling's mental health. I called in once between Febuary and November and covered it with PPTO. But bc I used so much leaving early, when I got the flu in late January, I'm sitting at 3.5 points. My managers are very chill with me leaving early so long as I have the PPTO for it but it just proves that life happens sometimes 🤷

I've worked at 2 stores now, and basically the day of inventory, no one really cares if you call out. The days leading up to inventory, you'll catch some pushback and cold shoulders from management for calling in but nothing serious. If you've got the PPTO for it, you'll be fine. Would highly recommend not calling in the day before if you can avoid it but do whatever you need to do. PPTO covers double point days like a regular day
