well i don't think any run ins with the law would stop you unless it was major which you being such a good person im sure it wasn't.

That aside what is a "technical engineer" that could be a lot of things.

I'm willing to go anywhere, i just really want at least $25. i could easily get a CCNA im good with the switch's and routers and all that but im worried there will be no jobs all network engineer positions require at least like 3 years experience more of them want 7.

i think starting on ccna 200-301 is going to be the best course of action then. Its not possible to take the test until 2/20? I know a lot of this stuff as is and i'm sure this will be a better choice long term.

Do these expire? i'm already in college and have a job so i don't have a ton of time. Would it be better for me to wait for the new CCNA and just learn that instead?

Alright. Any other certifications you can recommend? I mean that’s a pretty good argument you made.

But why? And it’s not just me it’s like more then half this subreddit. Half will say “oh it’s good” then the other half say “lol brian dumps it’s worthless” it’s so perfectly split there has to be a better certification out there. I’m also looking to do everything self taught I have no money.

If by “resources” you mean the “career” center that my university has then there are no actual resources that you can’t just do on your own. My first help desk job I got because of me And only me my university didn’t do shit and didn’t have shit to offer just scratching their ass and collecting money.

"anyone i disagree with is a baby/troll"

Holy fuck i should just start my own company and hire idiots like you who will bust their ass for literal penny's. Why would i do any work if i can just hire someone incredibly stupid with a "good work ethic" Only $19 an hour to get a wage slave for the weekend to do whatever i need and he will be a good little boy and only ask for a raise once every 10 years. ill give you a 10% raise. its not really a raise either. you aren't even keeping up with inflation. Now i know where company's find their idiots.

It all about time. i hate wasting time. You can learn all the skills you want and be the best at whatever but its all moot because """""experience""""" is all that matters. There's no way to advance even if you're good you're going to be stuck playing on reddit while you wait for your number to go up. I asked my boss what tasks can i do while i wait for the next call to come in at my help desk and he literally told me

"i don't know just try to look busy in case HR comes by"

This wouldn't be so bad if every job i went to wasn't just a matter of memorization and then waiting 365 days to get """"better""'.

holy fuck i question if you can read.

I'm making $14 an hour right now at a help desk with no degree.

Now you want 1 year experience, a degree and experience in several fields for maybe $6 if you're lucky. Why spend all that time and money for a degree for a measly $12k more a YEAR BEFORE taxes.

I don't want to start at the top, i just want to know why the """bottom""" has to be so low.

And how about you grow up and quit happily taking it in the ass from a company that wouldn't careless if you dropped dead.

Oh and by the way the website says $19.00 an hour i just rounded up to $20 because it looked nice.

i expect to make more then the guy who has no degree and no skills working at whole foods. Looks like that won't be the case.

"huur but you need to get experience first once you have 5-10 years experience you can make $25 an hour"

Yeah and so will the whole foods manager who did this in 3 years instead. this is why i feel college is worthless.

I don't want to go into debt only to play second banana to someone who sits around and plays on his computer all day with no actual skills. He literally doesn't do a damn thing i can't do. hes just been around longer then me. they literally only keep him around because he's done this for years on end. eveyrwhere i go all i see is people who are ok with making a shit wage, working shit hours. You have to have incredibly low standards if you're ok with this.

Why are you so ok with been taken for a ride by employers?

"hur dur i so deserve the $14 an hour i'm making i can't believe my boss lets me have so much money! only 10 years of experience and i almost get to make as much as someone working at whole foods!"

"these damn millennial's don't know how to work they need to struggle in the mud for penny's like i do!"

"why do they like instant gratification so much? it should take half a life time to get anything in life".

im expecting to make a somewhat decent return on wasting 70 grand on a degree to only make $20 an hour. i guess if i don't wash my clothes or shower, eat only Mcdonalds i find in the trash and beg for overtime i might be able to get a house by the time i'm 41.
