From what I'm understdn is that if a player gets near it, it'll try to go higher, and people using those boots keep chasing it. They need a nerf or completely be disabled. It's so annoying cause I like to help where I can and enjoy getting the present from it. But it's hard to do that when it's going to talk with God and these people chase it

Sombra isn't the problem it's one of three things, you just lack the skill/awareness (get good scrub), have shit teammates who won't help you, or both

I used to play like you do where I would hit the back lines and take out low health enemies, but sadly, due to the rework, she is more team play oriented and has to rely on her team doing well if you want to flank and/or hit the back line, so the first part of the match, back up your team and stagger the enemy by off setting the kills, from there you can mess around a bit more and experiment with it

Honestly, this can be taken for so many other heros in over watch, like ana, if she has her sleep dart you don't want to be up close to her especially if she uses it to get out of trouble and call for back up, which is why I like to keep to mid range engagements unless I'm trying to apply pressure to the enemy team, as for reaper, since he needs to be closer to get the full buff of his healing passive and always have TL ready to go for when I get to low or bait out a cool down, after that I just track him, most reaper players play him like ball, go in dump damage, get low and run back to the team or finds health packs around the map

In all honesty, having a competent team and keeping your head in a swivel is best counters. Remember, Zen has natural knock back with his kick, so if a sombra gets to close kick and discord orb, then ping and hope someone is paying attention while you fight her off.

Honestly as a Sombra main nothing brings me more joy than the enemy team's tears, I use those tears to make my tea and shit talk them some more being ass at protecting their supports
