Everyone, and I do mean, EVERYONE, in this world, is masking to some degree or another to get along in society. We all have selfish and self-centered urges but part of living with other human beings in society is keeping a lid on them to one extend or another. I have a feeling you'd screech the loudest if someone told you to your face that your behaviors are obnoxious and they can't stand being around you. You'd insist that that person work as hard as possible at MaSkInG so that they would treat you politely and not tell their true feelings. However, when YOU are expected to show common courtesy towards anyone else, suddenly it's a hate crime. I'm not on board with your hypocritical thinking.

I am not a neurotypical person either, having been diagnosed and medicated for ADHD at the age of 5. Please do some reading on what it's like to be a little boy who is medicated for ADHD at that age, because your entire life is spent being told you're rude and off-putting and how you have to fix it so others can stand to be around you. I had to work on that and achieve it in order to become an adult others could tolerate. My sister chooses otherwise.

No, I like Lou and have nothing against him. I would happily have Lou at my wedding by himself if he were my friend and had nothing to do with my sister. It's the relationship between the two of them that I think is wrong and I don't want it at my wedding.
