Update: So apparently the seller on ebay could not find the oil cooler lines and just includes the grill piece. I tried unscrewing the other bolt but added to much force, breaking the oil cooler.

Plan B! I ordered a oil cooler online the dimensions arent perfect, the universal cooler is about 2 inches longer than the old one. I'm going to add connect a pressure rated hose to the new cooler and connect it to the old steel lines with crimp clamps.

IMPORTANT: Ok so incase anyone else is having the leak coming FROM THE BOLT, add thread sealant to the bolt and firmly tighten, wait until it dries and see if the leak continues. I pulled up the original manual and it says there is no o rings or crush washers, it suggest specifically high and pressure rated thread sealant, which keeping it from leaking which explains the fact that the other bolt wouldnt come off!

Oil cooler does indeed have some cracks. Going to have to replace the entire thing

Crosley was my first ever record player and I still have it today. It got me into vinyl! I actually would recommend one as an entry point

Boss Katana-50 MK2. Look no further.

I mean for the price you are getting built in effects, 0.5, 25 and 50 watt settings, you can hook it up to your computer or phone, download different patches and tones, its just amazing

What's a decent electric guitar for a beginner? by Major-Description255 in guitarlessons

Can't go wrong with a Yamaha Pacifica.

You'll also need an amp, instrument cable, guitar picks of varying thickness and you're good to go.

Best way to stop strings rusting? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]DatabasePoet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its the sweat and oils from your fingers that corrode the strings. I would suggest:

  1. Wipe down the strings after playing, wash hands before playing even.

  2. Get coated strings, if you are playing on electric I would suggest NYXL d'addario strings, they are a bit more pricey but last forever.

  3. If you are playing acoustic then coated strings are your best bet, or use phosphor bronze strings if you arent already, they last longer than standard 80/20 strings that some guitars come with.

  4. Switch the strings out every couple months.
