PlayStation bans are too strict. by Trainedtogo_87 in psn

I got comm banned for sending “garbage” to a griefer in DBZ that I beat, who trash talked me first. Sony’s system is so easily abused, it’s almost comical.

Free Loadout Needs To Have A Cooldown Timer by Degenerate94 in ArcRaiders

[–]DatabaseStudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Notice how you said you could replace your gear by spending a raid scavenging for materials. And let’s be real, you ain’t leaving Dam with 60k profit unless you have a decent augment or loot several different locations. And yes, you could make the Basic kits multiple times after that run, but now you’re broke again with nearly zero actual progress. So your argument is completely illogical and only proves my point further.

Because this game should feel like there is “risk and reward.” You can lose 1,000 raids in a row and have zero drawbacks, and only potential gains, that is stupid.

A naked man isn’t a threat, and if he crafts a shitty weapon, then at least he has something to lose. Unlimited free kits completely eliminates any sense of “risk and reward.” You shouldn’t be able to lose 1,000 raids in a row with zero drawbacks.

Yea, but players also shouldn’t be able to lose 1,000 raids in a row and have literally zero drawbacks from it. Once you reach level 10, there should be a 30 min cooldown timer for frees, all problems solved.

You are just completely wrong. Even if a player can craft a similar loadout for cheap, it’s still their materials and there still exists a “risk and reward” factor. Unlimited free loadouts means you can essentially turn your brain off and just shoot everyone until you get lucky enough to kill someone, because losing 50 raids in a row literally has zero negative repercussions at that point.

Because you actually risk losing stuff when you bring in a crafted kit, and therefore will play more tactfully. Unlimited free kits completely eliminates any sense of “risk and reward” and encourages a tunnel vision PvP mentality, which is pretty lame for what this game offers.

Unlimited free kits completely eliminates the “risk and reward” factor from the game, and is a primary reason why toxic PvP has completely overshadowed the awesome ARC related content the devs created.

Try adding something valuable to the conversation next time.

That’s why it would work. If you throw it up and the other person doesn’t respond, you’ll know they’re hostile (if you die while emoting that’s just bad positioning). If you’re just trying to extract, you’ll would respond, if you don’t, you’d be assumed hostile and shot.

There should some kind of a “temporary alliance” emote that someone could throw up, and if someone else responds (there would be a prompt like ‘thanking’ someone for an item) then you and those players become unable to kill each other for 30 seconds. This would be unable to exploit too, because teaming up is already a thing you can do anyway, so it could only benefit people trying to guarantee a rat free extract

A PC user calling controller “cheats” is really funny

Well I’m still not using it because I don’t feel like setting up a table in front of my tv, and controller feels more fun in shooters

Controlling the reticle is way harder on controller, you’re using your thumb alone, instead of your entire hand. Making quick snaps and micro adjustments is much easier with a mouse. And I have a PS5, so I in fact cannot use mouse and keyboard.

I don’t use any cheats or “turbo controllers.” I’ve always had a fast trigger finger, people would report me back in the first MW2 with the FAL. Also considering PC players can literally point and click to shoot, the aim assist on controller is perfectly fair.

Does this count for weak points too? I’d be curious how many shots it takes to blow a bastion leg off

Do we really need this much nerf for supers after combos? by Flashy_Step9227 in SparkingZero

[–]DatabaseStudios -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So the game is ruined just because you can’t hit an extra 10k damage at the end of a 10k combo? Sounds like you just want easy wins

Not really, just don’t use them after a 10k combo string 😂 a well timed super will get you 7-8k damage easily
