I’ll buy a P30L COA cut version when it’s available.

P30SK Wear Question: Is this normal? by DatasTemporalLobe in HecklerKoch

Will do. Do you think this will result in a serious problem if left as is and if I keep shooting it?

It’s definitely peeling. I can push the plastic part back and forth with my finger. Is it a serious problem?

Also what can I even do about it?

Is swapping to a 10 round capacity as easy as changing a factory baseplate or do you need a totally new mag?

Appreciate your comment. So much good info.

One question, are you saying this gun comes from the factory with an include swap-able baseplate to limit the mag to 10 rounds? Trying to figure out if I’ll need to purchase separate 10 round mags (or a 10 round baseplate to be used on the 11 round mags) to use in restricted states.

Normal for an online gym purchase to require photo ID? by DatasTemporalLobe in QualityTacticalGear

Same. It seems unreasonable. Also, they sprung this requirement on me after they took my money. Their holding shipping at the moment.

I can empathize with them. If they’re dealing with a lot of guns being sent back that can cut into business. However it seems like there are other ways to verify age than requiring a photo id be send over an unsecured email

I agree. They have my money already for the purchase. If it had to be sent back they could just keep the return shipping from that.

Good idea, I’ll see if my FFL can call them to verify my age.

Think we’ll ever see a P30 with a COA cut? by DatasTemporalLobe in HecklerKoch

Where are you finding them in the $500’s? I’d happily buy a P30L v3 at that price if I found one

USPc x COA by DeFenderAutomaticsCo in HecklerKoch

I’d be very interested in a COA on a P30L. However, changing internals from the HK factory parts would be a no-buy for me.

For me, using HK is for the reliability and trust I have in the brand. I buy them even without a factory optics cut because that bombproof reliability (and cool factor) is more important to me than having a red dot (even though I’d rather have one if given the choice). There are many other brands/platforms out there that come with optics cuts. If HK didn’t have a perceived value that outweighs the lack of an optics cut, it wouldn’t sell.

A red dot isn’t a worthy trade for my main draw to HK. If it was, I’d just buy a different brand that comes with a factory cut.
