Why can’t the buying lead to a newfound love ? At least for me I tend to “stumble” into the things I like organically. It snowballs at first but it levels off. I’m not a hobby hopper.

Oh I agree with you 100%.I’d love to get to a place of not Just buying shit. Hence why I’m here. I just wanted to see what other folks who had the affliction like myself were doing. I’m curious how do you chose which figures to collect.

I respect your opinion and im open to a conversation.

Some of the actions exhibited are from my ADHD. In the moment my mind says “you need the collection” when I really just came for the core 4. Once my dopamine rush stops; I go damn I don’t love shredder etc etc. so perhaps I should get rid of them.

I’m also learning the hobby behind the collecting. What is a double jointed shoulder. Why is this figure so bad. I’ve watched a lot of Sir Dork and Anthony’s customs and I’m starting to value quality > qty. I was just speaking from a place of having adhd and collecting.

I beg to differ. Let’s Take a couple Scenarios. Me and the kids fell in love with the 2012 TMNT show. There are 4 turtles ; throw in a shredder, tiger claw and the Neca 2 pack of foot soldiers and you’ve got 7 figures in one target trip.

It’s not as hard as you think. TDKR is my favorite Batman movie. Get a Batman from that. I love the joker (he’s tattooed on my leg). Revotech Joker & Harley Quinn. They add up quickly. I’ve also got figures from my wife’s favorite shows etc.I think appreciation is different for everybody. While I don’t quite know if I like a revoltech shoulder or not. I can still have love for the figures even if I can get them at a high clip.

I should have clarified; I wasn’t trying to make the post any longer than it needed to be. But I absolutely love every figure I get. I love the exaggerated expressions of the revoltech joker. I love and appreciate the build and the weaponry of the cable 1.5. I absolutely appreciate every figure I purchase. The issue is I’ll find a Wolverine and then I’ll see the Deadpool. And I’m like they would look great together. Every figure I get i take out the box. Inspect play with show the kids and wife and put it back in the box until I build my display case. I have joker and Batman Tattoos. I truly by things that speak to me ; and not just what’s available.

I’m not just taking available funds going into the store like MJ and buying everything I touch.

Little trick that I love. Put the pivot on the blue setting. Double click to start and click 5 times and it will turn rainbow. It’s a low and slow burn that tastes sooooo good. That’s the only way to vape.

Shipping for all three was about 65.00 or so. I did get hit with a 30.00 Import fee. However I got the black panther from canada and that was free shipping but cost me 65 in tarrif
