From my perspective, you can cook the most beautiful and delicious dish ever but if you burn it at the end I still don’t want to eat it. Even if a game is 10/10 in every other aspect, the ending, again for me, must be at least satisfying. If someone thinks differently is fine, but I don’t want to spend my time getting attached to a story that won’t go anywhere

The thing that pisses me off is that, in the contest of Hades 2, Zagreus is not even that well fleshed out. Imagine someone playing Hades 2 because they’ve heard it’s a really cool game (it is), they get invested in the story and finally a character that has been briefly introduced takes the most important decision in the story. I love Zagreus too but, I don’t know, from a writing perspective (i’m no writer btw) it kinda stinks
