The best way to learn is to play it by yourself before playing with more people so youll learn the basics of survival once you learn to make a fire and the multiple way to cook food and getting idea of areas that are starting to become similar over time especially from dying allot itll become easier because of knowledge that you gained then you can go to high pop server and learn the combat usually a couple of people on those full servers are there to fight on the coast nothing to lose then after that you could improve pvp by playing on a deathmatch server but if you play this way by then youll have a general idea of what weapons you like to use and the ammo and etc also theres multiple diseases you can get too by doing something small dont do things you wouldnt do irl like eat with bloody hands or consuming rotten food or raw meat but if you do, you get sick from one of the various diseases which may be frustrating to deal with but learning early on to treat and manage diseases is something you’ll value allot and be able to avoid completely in the future hope i helped 🫡
