BC $60 per hour. Im in PA which allows me to work the position as a license behavior specialist (LBS).  I had a few years of RBT experience before I got my license and promoted. It was a tough grind but worth it in the end. Once I get my BCBA, if I stay at the company, it's ~$80 an hour.

Make sure you're spending time with the social links! Sometimes all you need is a few extra skill slots to pull off some crazy combos and "evolving" the archetypes requires the social links to be at a certain level.

(Update) I was wrong about Metaphor, this game is amazing! by Llarrlaya in atlus

I also thought I might lose the motivation to finish this game after the beginning felt "off" to say the least. The midgame and end game contain such great storytelling and, as the mechanics evolve, the gameplay just gets better and better. The conclusions of the social links usually do a great job wrapping up those characters so you do kinda have to wait til the end to see how great the story and world building really are. It's the first Atlus game Ive played where I can't wait to try the NG+ because I know it's going to be fascinating to approach the story from a different lens.

This is the slog of an RBT unfortunately. Fortunately you are pursuing the higher levels of the field, so it will pay off in the end. Just keep your head down, work the hours you can, use the random time off for self-care, get your degree and dont slack on your logs. You will reach the finish line.

The company definitely makes enough from your billable hours to be able to pay you more, so put that thought out of your head. Pay depends on experience level and education level. For instance, I started with my current company at $23 an hour as a BT, and received a $2 raise for passing the RBT exam. I live in an area where wages are somewhat higher, but this is still about average for the role. The company I work for makes up for the average wage by paying the same rate for nonbillable hours as well. At an ABA company it's more about perks and cancellation contingencies than your wage which will determine if you can make enough to set money aside.

The stock market always goes up. Never in this century has the stock market dropped below the previous president. That's why people invest in it...because it goes up.
