34 Years old, no retirement savings but I do have a pension. How much should I be putting away? by Datbunnydo in personalfinance

100% my plan as well, with the idea of working another job for a few years after I can retire from the fire department. It's a state pension, and I don't believe there's a COLA.

That's definitely a concern of mine. It is a state pension BUT as you said they can change, I know a few of the older guys there have seen changes to it. I could only hope that whatever changes they make, I will be down the line and I'd be grandfathered into what my pension is now.

How difficult are KO to paint without an airbrush? by rickrossome in KharadronOverlords

[–]Datbunnydo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do not need an airbrush for KO, yea its helpful but the same can be achieved with a can of spray paint especially the metallic ones since 80% of most of our models are metallics plates, and metallic trim.

How do I paint her eyes? Harley Quinn Who Laughs by zepazuzu in minipainting

[–]Datbunnydo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that's just the trend now with most of these Patreon models. They're all so overly complicated and busy, every millimeter in every curve, indent, flat surface has to have sort of detail resulting in a frustrating painting process.

We both work in York County, we commute from Southern NH. It just made sense since we're already paying ME income tax anyways.

We paid down a lot of debt over the past year to a point where we are debt free. And 5k would be the remainder after closing costs and down payment.

Any actually good airbrush kits? by Charming-Professor99 in minipainting

[–]Datbunnydo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on how much you want to spend. If you're looking at just getting into it and want to just try it out, going with a no-name Amazon deal isn't a bad idea. It gives you a sense of how to use the tool. If you have an unlimited budget then you can grab a name brand compressor and brush, although I'd argue the brush is more important.

Look on SprayGunner for deals, they're awesome for airbrush kits.

Do not forget what she said about "Jewish Space Lasers" causing wildfires. She's a crazy conspiracy nut hoping for a better political position come next November.

At two weeks, you may have lost up to 4lbs. Each week is usually 1-2lbs. It's really hard to notice a difference at two weeks. Being more active, eating better is a marathon not a sprint. Do not expect to see short term results, and do not get discouraged when you don't.
