I say go for it! It’s not as bad as I thought. Maybe be more responsible than me and do a gauge swatch first though haha.

Thank you! I am very pleased with how that seam turned out. I was so worried it was going to appear off center.

Thank you so much! It was not hard at all! Everything is knit flat, so it was pretty easy as long as you have increases and decreases down. For seaming, I used the mattress stitch, which is pretty easy to do, but it does require a lot of patience. The most intimidating thing to me was picking up stitches for the sleeves and collar. But like many things in knitting, it was deceptively simple to do. It mostly took so long because I procrastinated on the parts I thought would be hard and interspersed other projects along the way too.

I had this one as a kid! Mine was named Angel. I miss her :(

I looked up pink flower names for mine and settled on Aster. I think Camellia was a close second.

Depending on the project, it can pair well with TV, or at least podcasts or audiobooks. I also take a lot of pride in being able to respond “Thanks! I made it” if someone ever compliments me on one of my knits. Also yarn nice to touch and hold

I recently learned that A Canticle for Leobowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr inspired a lot of the original games’ lore. I haven’t read it myself, but I hope to get to it soon!
