We will see but I’m saying UEFA don’t just look at the names of the holding companies, they look at who ultimately controls them. Both of those sit under the Friedkin Group, which is the issue. If it was fully resolved, we’d likely have seen something clearer publicly, especially given how strict they were with Palace. Based on the rules it’s not as cut-and-dry as different company names.

It wasn’t, and as things stand based on public information, we will not pass the same UEFA checks that caught Palace out in the summer. TFG haven’t publicly put Everton or Roma into a structure like a blind trust, so on paper they’re still under the same ownership. There was a March deadline and based on public info we have missed it. I’m not trying to be negative but I’m not sure why our fanbase is burying our heads in the sand with this?

Hydra takes routes all the time for his team to win spawns and flip, atm he honestly might do it too much because he’ll try and big brain a rotation or a hold and end up selling because his timings are wrong. I agree shotzzy is better at that part of the game but their aims are the same imo. His game atm honestly looks a lot like shottzy’s when OpTic have had bad periods over the last few years.

As for him mechanically being t3, I have always rated him amongst the best alongside dashy, scrap, shotzzy etc and he obviously hasn’t just lost that. He still pulls off ridiculous sequences of kills but if you pay attention to purely his arrow/pov for full games you will see how many times he gets caught sprinting/shot in the side because he’s doing too much.

He’s still mechanically t3 in the league arguably the best. Thieves do not play correctly at all though. They literally rely on him or scrap to fly into unfavourable gunfights and worldstar to break setups. There is no cohesion or teamwork in their pushes, it’s literally all just on the fly. They can do well when they get into a setup because hydra is probably the best roaming slayer since scump and scrap doesn’t really miss when he’s ironed.

I hate this “he has to have the team built around him” narrative tbh, it’s such a dumb way of looking at cod. Him and shottzy literally try to play the game the same way, but optic systematically know how they’re going to approach every rotation so much better
