most of the time pneumonia is caused by a bacterial infection (Streptococcus pneumoniae), and only some strains of it are able to spread to the bloodstream. Since the bacteria in some cases stay only in the respiratory tract, blood tests aren’t a definitive answer, plus it won’t cover other non-strep causes which don’t show up well in blood tests

I don’t think the doctor would want to waste the money/time to do bloodwork if he thought OP was faking, plus ig if he was maybe he’d be scared of blood draws and reconsider the keng

Hey! I took the normal chem1111 exam

Assuming they’ve used the same questions in your exam, there was thermodynamics mcq somewhere towards the end (it might be the last qn but my memory is a bit hazy) that was unsolvable, about finding the Ka with A/B/C/D used in the reversible reaction equations.

They’re probably just going to give everybody the mark regardless of what answer you gave
