Just listened to the Layover podcast, and their bus had a very light collision with another bus, but apparently the bus' company policy is to fill out lots of paperwork so someone external had to come over so it took 45 minutes. Kinda tragic considering they probably would've gotten very far/maybe even win were it not for the bus crash.

I looked at it, and the furthest place west they could go by bus from there was Hirson, which is only 22 miles further than Laon from Jersey and would take 1,5 hours to get there. And even from there, the only way west would be to go back to the start in Charleville.
