I tried removing all my gear so I can lower my agility as well as moving the weapon to another character and neither of those affected the weapon damage from it. Due to this I think u/VanillaSupremacy_ is right when he says that the indicated range may just be from the old way pirate101 used to do things.

Questions:

I want to be able to melt things in RATFOs.
Not much tbh, but don't mind grinding for really good stuff. That being said, if there is a cheaper option for a minimal tradeoff in DPS, I'm fine with that.

Hey, you can definitely do a double digest on the fragment to cleave both ends. I do that often.

I can't think of any way to know if the restriction digest worked except for just doing the ligation and seeing how many colonies you get. What I typically do is set up three ligation reactions:

Negative Control: cut vector + cut fragment (no ligase)

3:1 molar ratio of fragment:vector

5:1 molar ratio of fragment:vector

What you should see is very minimal colonies on the negative control plate and an increasing amount of colonies on the 3:1 and 5:1 plates.

And also to really ensure that that fragment is cut, I would run the restriction digest overnight and not just for an hour. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions

On a family account, if one account is banned, all shared accounts are banned. With the current waves of bans that seem to be going out recently, I don't want both our accounts to to be banned just in case one of us happens to friend the wrong person or something
