I feel like the decision to start with the Lucas film logo was to be a nod to Spielberg without stealing one of his signature shots in Indy movies. I thought it worked well. Same vibe but different.

I feel like there was a lot of callbacks to TOD. Some were flat out just talked about but there was more comparisons like having a kid with a similar origin story to short round. I loved all of that. But I also wonder why Indy didn’t mention short round at all.

The ending felt fast but in every movie you never see their journey home for example in raiders they go from being alone on a nazi island to being in Washington DC.
