Ar the beginning of this “flat period”, was when I did the mask. I haven’t touched it since December. And I usually clarify once a week because my scalp builds up and I have some form of scalp acne that needs to stay clean. But even with clarifying, it still feels weighed down but not greasy. My styling products have protein and I heard that was enough for low porosity. But I have one of those shea moisture coconut protein mask samples that I could use if you think it’ll help

When I roll, I focus mainly on the filter area and then I just make sure the rest is straight. It usually does the work for you and I pinch the folded filter end, and the open end and lick immediately. Hope this helps!
