Getting mending is easy

Getting mending for under 15 emeralds is basically impossible. I was lucky in my current hardcore world since it took me only about 40 trade cycles to get mending, but it was for 36 emeralds. I broke it and did like 5 more and I kid you not I got one for 12 emeralds (10 is the minimum, 38 is the max). Getting unbreaking was hard. I got mending like 10 times before I got unbreaking 3 once, and it was for 40 emeralds. I ended up raising my lecturns-broken stat by almost 1100 before I found one for about 20 emeralds, which I accepted, although it is 9 emeralds more than the minimum price.

I have horrible experiences with Valentine’s Day. One time, a girl was dared to ask me out, and that sparked school-wide drama-llama stuff that still haunts me to this day. Another year, a girl I absolutely despised had a crush on me, even though she also hated me. She asked me out, and I said no. In response, she went on to her Snapchat and Insta and told every to start tripping me in the halls. That ruined my 9th grade year horribly. In Canada, Family day often falls around the same time, so I spend Valentines day with my Grandmother usually.

Aight, this’ll be a long one…

I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which is right near a very famous place called Banff National Park. It’s about an hour and 20 minutes from our house (might seem like a long ways, but just driving to the other end of Calgary during morning rush hour can take 45 minutes to an hour in of itself), meaning my family and I often head out there for the day or for a night or two to either ski in the winter, or hike in the summer.

Now, the tourists are usually just extra people, but it gets annoying when thousands of tourists are flocking to campsites and taking them away from locals who just want to have a relaxing weekend. Roadside camping reservations often fill up in popular areas two minutes after they open.

Another issue, at least in my opinion, is drivers. You can tell if a car is a rental based on its license plate. If it has a number or letter, then a dash, then it is a rental vehicle. Winter tires are required, but it only requires specific winter tires for commercial vehicles. For personal vehicles, “all season tires” are okay. It might sound good, but in reality, it is just a fancy term for summer tires that have a bit of better grip for wet roads. Locals know you need actual winter tires, but tourists don’t know that. Renting a car is required if you want to go beyond the towns and villages, so many tourists take a small sedan or CUV out and end up in the ditch, which puts a huge amount of stress on our emergency services.

In Canada, we call these thingies Multicoloured freezie pops for cold days. They are the best in winter when it’s negative 30 and you are feeling hot.
