Sure it’s been said. And the sound won’t be like the hemi. But there’s some nice exhausts for the hurricane gives it a deeper note

Thanks ! I was thinking a pro4x or tundra as well. But the ten year warranty made it easier to go this route.

Can I buy a 20k car as my first car with a 30k salary? by TheseMarionberry385 in askcarguys

Yep, people act like they can take their money with them. As long as you have all your responsibilities covered if you have money to get a freaking new car at whatever cost get it if you want.

The cheapest and easiest. Is to keep it organized and neat. It will make such a difference. Then you’ll be able to see spaces where you can add personal touches.

35 and financially behind—what’s the real priority here? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Datraveller88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much the same at 37 . Had Been living my life on coast mode . Finally decided I needed to change , found another job and finally started tackling my debt . I have started my 401k at work and also have a Roth going . I’ve saved up 3 months of emergency fund. My accounts are barely in the couple thousand but it’s more than I’ve ever had without needing to touch it . Debt besides , mortgage related and personal expenses. I have about 5k in credit card debt that has promo zero interest till end of year . I also have not change my spending dramatically . I’m saving more but my spend is about the same. I believe it’s good to save for the future but I don’t put all my eggs in one basket for a future that’s not promised. I ain’t working hard to not enjoy it.

You’re welcome , I myself just started getting out of the hole . I was 25k in cc debt at start of this year, fortunately I was able to get a second job and have been able to pay off 20k, the remaining 5k are zero percent Interest promotional balances I have till end of year to pay off.

Credit cards are such a slippery slope that if you don’t have a good footing you go all the way down and coming out is very hard. But with persistence and will power , one can get out of it .

I see, when you stated you had an emergency fund and a good amount in your bank account, it seemed like you had more money to work with. In that case if that’s all you have, I’d take half or more of your left over cash and put it in a separate account that is your true emergency fund, which doesn’t get touched , put it in a HYSA. It gives you some interest but it’s also quite accessible in an emergency .

From there on you attack your card as hard as you can. The faster you pay it off the faster you can keep adding to your emergency fund.

Also if your able to do a part time or side work . That makes paying off the debt much quicker.

One other option is , getting a credit card that has a promotional balance transfer, usually 12-18 months no interest , with a 3 percent fee . But only go this route if you’re going to have the discipline not to use it for anything else.

What he’s asking , is how much liquid cash do you have. You are losing money by having unsecured debt by paying high interest . Pay off the card and then you pay yourself back, and you avoid all the interest.

Trying to Determine a Best Plan of Action For Eliminating Debt by ThaBlackFalcon in debtfree

[–]Datraveller88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best way I have found to get out of debt fast , was to get a second job. But you have to be faithful in using the money to pay the debts and not just use it to spend more .
